This is a FAQ in the works for the new Lockwood Gift Machine. Can you give gifts across Homes regions? Gifting isn't available in Japan, but cross-regional gifting is available across all other regions. How many tokens does if come with? The Gift Machine comes with 64 tokens for free, you are able to buy more tokens from the store. How many mates can i gift? You can gift anyone on your list, but you may only send a gift to 6 mates at once. What happens if someone already has the gift? If a friend already has the gift, a pop up will occur preventing you from proceeding any further in the transaction so you don't end up wasting tokens on something they already have. How much do tokens cost? Tokens cost the following for a pack of 80: $0.99, £0.79
I have a few questions--where do you get/use the machine? And can you only gift to friends, or also to yourself?
You get it from the Sodium/Lockwood store in the mall, it's free. You can only gift mates, but you could setup a 2nd id and add yourself to let you gift your own id from the new one you set up.
yep it is as carla said you can gift your id if you make another id and add it to the friends list. also since you get 64 coins with it you can get 1 to 3 items right off the bat pending on what you get. but after that you either have to make more accounts to get the other items or put money into the one you made. even if you make multiple accounts you still can't get everything though.
