Is Sony finally ready to confirm those long-running God of War IV rumors next week? That's the speculation running rampant right now, with the official PlayStation Facebook page pondering the question "Will vengeance bring redemption?" and teasing the answer to that question on April 19. That's one week from today, making the announcement of an announcement slightly less painful. The images are vague, as is the tease, but the banner (and its much larger form, embedded below) certainly give off a God of War vibe. Rumblings of God of War IV have been popping up for the better part of a year, with the game appearing on retailer sites and on résumés. Oh, and the game is a multi-million unit selling franchise that Sony would be financially foolish to capitalize in on once again this generation. Here's the second teaser image, should you be able to decipher it in any meaningful way. The most recent entry in the main God of War series, God of War III, is now more than two years old. The most recent release, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, was released on the PSP in late 2010. Stay tuned. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I Do Hope It Is God Of War 4 So I Can Be :crossi:
