I played the crane game out to get all of the promotion certificates then decided to play the silver ball games to figure out how to play, it's a very hard game and I didn't do well at all. Then after a bit I decided tousle the buy balls option and dropped a few, I found out that you can buy your way to a promotion on these games simply by dropping 25 balls at a time for one ticket. For the lower point machine it takes 48 tickets to buy a promotion and 80 on the higher point machine, I'm working on the lower point machine promotions to see if they have any effect anywhere.
What I've done was just play until I reach the limit (BIG pinball - 2000, original pinball - 1200) and I've gotten my promotions easy. When I reached level 9 for both and wanted to get level 10 on both, I found out you need to play the game twice once you hit the limits. I played them again hitting the limit on both and got my promotions. However, it's the same value in okane and happy points no matter what.
ah I have the apartment, no chocolates but some weird looking statues. the fishing hook fly hook up nose is quite eww.
People will be upset at the cost to buy their way to the promotions when they find out about it, it's ridiculously expensive and I would have been pissed if I didn't do this during the ticket sale. The hoard I built up for later is gone and I'm going to replenish it for later use in the fossil game, I wonder if there will be a ticket usage area in the Edo lounge also? Crap! 8/
Well, I just used up 700 yen and saved 5000 in yen for AFD. The rest of the yen I bought the kotatsu set and the rest in GZ tickets. I now have 574 tickets in total, and most of them will be used for the energy drinks for serving big happy points to people and big money to me. The rest I can use on the fossil game. The kotatsu set is pretty cool with 3 different table settings (one wood, one green play table, and one green play table with mahjong on it), a basket full of mandarin oranges, and the table itself. If you got the apartment furniture set, you can use the blue seat cushion to the kotatsu for a finished touch. I also got the pig snout earrings from Yui tonight. I decided it was best and tangible - and besides, the design is pretty cool. Steve mentioned there was cupcakes and chocolates, but I couldn't decipher what is what from the katakana and kanji. I know "choco" in katakana is chocolate, but it didn't say so in the selection. However, I hope this isn't a one-time reward thing. I wanted to find out the other two options are. Maybe sometime with Yui I might get that chance again.
Wow, I don't even want to think of how many tictets you used for that tactic. My advice is simply get better at the game. You can hit the limit with just one ticket. It just takes a while. Just be ready to devote about a hour for each playthough. The trick is finding the 'sweet spot' when pulling back on the knob. If you pull it all the way down then release, you're going to miss everytime. If you don't pull back far enough the ball won't be able to escape into main area, and will fall back down. However, any and all balls that fail to launch into the main area are returned to you (added back to your ball counter). So if the ball doesn't make it out into the main area.. no harm no foul. My advice is to pull the nob about 2/3 or 3/4 of the way down. You're not going to get all the balls in, but as long as you get more balls back then you are losing, you're making progess. Randomly getting the x2, x5, x10 bonus times spends up the process. Again, you should only be using on tictet per game. Keep at it, and good luck.
:unamused: WHAAAAAA!!! Left you?!?! I didn't get any letter at all, what choices have you been picking from the list? The first choice has been the nice response as standard with Irem and Granzella games, if you have been picking a lower one she may have given you the boot!
I can't wait for this space to hit North America. I've been bad... haven't been back to pick up where I left off yet.
I've tried playing through but this game is tough, I played for 2 hours and only got around 300 points total. The sweet spot on this game is not so sweet at all! The knob is touchy and while I can get the majority of the holes filled to get a fire round the points I get don't add up to anything mostly. When I spent the afternoon collecting promotions on these there were many others doing the same taking advantage of the ticket sale, otherwise I rarely see anyone playing these games. I think I'll stick with Pachipara, those I have fun playing and the rewards are sweet! :tounge2:
its actually a lot better than it was, I dont feel like im going to have a fit while using it now, went twice before it was taken down and only stayed a minute and got out, only thing is theres usually only 10 to 20 people there and 6 of them hang around the saloon making serving and being served a chore unless you take friends, which I prefer actually
I have a friend serving on level 9 in the salon and 10 on the other areas, hopefully she will be done in a week with the salon and by that time if the VIP lounges are entered by level merit at least we will know it soon. She's very committed to the JP lounge and when they open in other countries I'm sure she'll kick ass in them also.
theres no skill to serving though, its all about how much time you can spend there, as no one votes a lower level if you get it right so you can take nearly the full time to serve someone, the idea is if you take a little longer to get served you vote accordingly, its a chore rather than a game bit like fossil digging, collecting orbs

These are the responses over the last couple of days in conversation with Yui taken from wiki, she's not talking and the music is sad. :frown:
I got the letter that Thomas was talking about last night. I'm wondering if Yui is slightly schitzophrenic, talk about an emotional roller coaster! so now what?!?!
