Finally they announced it. It was actually hidden in Granzella's website a few days ago, but didn't want to bring it out since it may have not been official. PlayStation®Home ƒIƒtƒBƒVƒƒƒ‹ƒTƒCƒg Anyway to sum it up, the Southern Island Retreat and the Mononoke mini game will be closed starting 2/22. Edo lounge will remain. Valentine event will end on 2/21 so get it before it's too late. Some store items such as the swimming fins, fish food, shuriken, and kunai will be unavailable during this period. The Neon downtown is scheduled to come back around late Feburary, Mononoke game to come back around late March, and Southern Island Retreat to come back around late April.
takes a lot of courage to take down these spaces, so if it sorts them out then it will be a nice victory not only for granzella but for home users, as it shows we dont have to put up with sub standard work, if the ideas are great but the workmanship has been poor, means the idea is lost, plus if you charge top yen as well, people will expect more, perhaps they need to stop bringing back irem inspired stuff and do they own thing, so they dont get compared
I'm just happy Granzella finally stood up to its mistakes, and let them get fixed for the good of the community rather than making updates that would only make things worse. I'll have to buy the shuriken and kunai logs just for the fun of it. Besides, they look nice. Glad to hear Downtown will be coming back late February - can't wait to boost up my servings to level 10. Only 4 rewards to go from it. I just hope they save the money and happy points that I earned plus the progress of serves I had made before it was taken down.
I hope we don't have to level back up either, I'm level 5 on most of the games and would really hate to start over again as I spent a month in the space working my way up. I can't wait to get more goodies from the rewards when it comes back too! 8)
I finally got this from Granzella. Little late, but I'll post it anyway....

Dear Ms. Karen, Thank you for sending us email. We're sorry for the delayed response. question- How long will the spaces be down for? The Neon Downtown lounge is temporarily closed. And from February 22 the Southern Island Hideaway lounge and the Mononoke mini game lounge in our Edo area will both be temporarily closed. The date that these areas will reopen hasn't been determined yet. Once we know when they will reopen, we will post it on our website. - Will all of Granzella's spaces be affected? The main Edo area with the shops and the living areas will not be affected. - Will other regions be affected besides Japan? Our lounges outside of Japan will not be affected. We are planning on opening the Mononoke minigame lounge in the other regions in the near future. We hope you are looking forward to it! Sincerely, Granzella Inc.

I didn't have a chance to set up these Edo lounge model reward items from mononoke game until today. They're really cool--the detail is incredible even with the roofs off....and they're a nice size. I know a lot of people have not been too happy with certain aspects of Granzella from the start, including myself, but I have to say that they are doing some of the best and most creative work of any developer in Home.
Wow! Those are adorable! ^^ I have a funny feeling we'll have something like that for Granzella's AFD event this year - maybe a reward or maybe just a purchase like the AFD 2010 event when you had those land pieces to complete the Irem RPG fantasy island. Time to start saving yen, folks!
I have a few Japanese building models much like these, not on such a grand scale of course as these are pretty huge! I have an antique Minka made from bamboo just after the Edo era with a removable roof and winter door panels that you can store in their own cabinet like in the Edo Apt. If these were real they would be the envy of many collectors.
You need at least 3 players to start a multiplayer game and they have to be on your friend list.
Thank you Steve, I was wondering how that worked. XD I can remove 80-90% of it's health on my own with the bamboo sword, but keep running out of time. If only I had 5 extra minutes.
Actually you only need 2 players. You need to be in a group channel to access them, and they don't need to be in your friend list to participate.
NP, if you need help give me a call (if I'm available). I can help you out with getting the fossils. Should be able to finish 1 session in less than 5 minutes. So about an hour for the 8 pieces. And after that you should get your centipede blade which makes life alot easier compared to that bamboo lol.
I'm also willing to help people in co-op as well. The Oni killing will halt next update, which I am sure everyone knows already. But what people my not realize is that when it returns, it's very unlikely to be the same mission/enemies. I'm sure the rewards from the old woman won't change, but this might be the last few days to get the centipede blade.
