There is a new Axe game at the booth in the Hub. Just spray yourself and go to the girl out in dance floor area. 2 rewards are bag of fireworks and a hand blowtorch item. This is a pretty bizarre promotion....spray yourself and then a woman with deodorant and receive a torch and fireworks? lol I think bag of fireworks is female only and torch is male only.
I've set myself on fire 5 ties since I got the blowtorch :/ Marvel logo tee is free and I know the other shirts are nice but damn 1.49 is kinda crazy for a shirt :/

Nothing new in RC Rally. I thought it said we were getting new companions but I got nothing. I completed all the objectives again turned off home and logged in on another PS3. Nothing has been posted about it either about it not being updated officially

Well, I did get that nekkid avatars for male and female, so I'm happy with those at least. I haven't gotten too much as far as rewards go game-wise, but got a few that I'm proud of. As for Infamous, I won the trash monster trophy from there a long time ago, so that's done. Socom, too, I gotten all rewards so I'm finished.
The "retiring" of those spaces seems less to do with any technical issues as it does to the lack of traffic in them. I did enjoy Conspiracy and was hoping more was coming, including some aNsWErs.
I think it's a real shame they remove spaces, that could potentially be repaired..and don't they realize, new users tend to go to the Infamous space to get the outfit? There's always some new person to Home, who is directed there to get the outfit reward. Even Socom, which I haven't used in like two years..but I'd assume it's still a potential space if they would update it with new rewards. It seems they always remove a space, with little word on why and they overlook the issues that need fixed. I feel the same will happen to UFC, as well.
It cost $5.99...but you have to buy the Oscar's Lobster Mania Island and play the game and it will be rewarded along with a shirt and poster. Rewards are for owner only.
could the reasons be why the traffic dropped was because there were issues, and what about personnel spaces with issues ie waterfall terrace and ufc, is removing the broken, going to be the new repair hope not, got that when i called about an item i couldnt buy, well I could buy it but it never turned up ever, basically its a refund and told dont buy it again
Good question Dan--how will it end? I've been concerned that over time we would see more and more of this happening. It's really a shame with Conspiracy especially, considering that at one point, they were talking about expansion to include multi-player, new missions, taking the space to EU, etc. Also, its a mixed message from Mgt. again when they mention "as a response to technical issues" and then at the end say "out with the old, in with the new". So are the spaces being removed due to technical issues or because they are old? I don't know what they expected when they made the announcement a long time ago that Home would be primarily supporting indie developers. If this is what they want to do, maybe they should at least make sure ahead of time that these "developers" actually have the money to do something beyond the initial launch of a space and/or items. On the flip side of that, I'm sure Sony doesn't make it easy on them money-wise or reliability-wise. Bottom line for me--same as I've said for a long time, Home needs all new Management and direction....people who are less consumed by greed who have competence, a willingness to communicate honestly and a fresh creative vision. We can always dream about what could be........
Yes, that "To start" comment has me worried too. The UFC space seems ready to follow right behind them and who knows what else. I visited the spaces last night and found nothing working in each except their stores, there was nobody in any except SOCOM confrontation which has always been a popular hang out. The only thing worth buying at any was a few of the items from Conspiracy like the pixelated items but otherwise their was nothing to mention. I have the Conspiracy pass which gives the limited edition gold robot costume which is quite cool, other than that there is no more companions or costume items related to the game.
