This space will be coming soon to the US region of Home from Sony, within the space you will find a small hidden room that unlocks if you own 3 or more parts of the Mansion. You can also gift your buddy's a Gothic item.
HCV's are giving tours, would be best to ask them because my id's maxed plus I'm heading to bed (00:40) here.
Wow a hall, another one not to bother with, 3 in a row im not buying thats a record. Cant believe the rubbish they are trying to get us to buy the creek house is a box house with very fake scenery, the airship thats just awful why put a balcony and then no type of scenery and then this one put a few benchs it becomes a church hall, none of them have set rooms like kitchen, bedroom etc in fact none of them have internal walls whats the idea put 4 walls a door a window and some naff scenery but you can give away a dreadful reward, i could do a better house on sims 3 in less than 15 minutes
yeah the actual sony ones have been lame lately, they all seem to be centered around giving a reward and to make you want to own mansion pieces or other $15 items. its almost like the mansion is the PS Plus of home. i think the last good sony produced one was the winter villa, and the last good one made by another company was the cutteridge estate.
As a rule of thumb I just assume if it's made by Sony it's gonna be rubbish, though to be fair this looks better designed than previous efforts (aside from the outside scenery, that looks terrible). I'm all for giving discounts to mansion owners to at least make up for the cost but having to spend even more on another space that itself isn't worth the money just for a so-called "easter egg" certainly isn't a good deal. PS. anyone think this looks like they took the mansion, pulled a few walls down ,stripped off the gold paint and made a few other slight changes?
Actually Loot which are part of Sony make some of best apartments, these last three prove how dumb they think we are, and as you can see by previous post 4 walls windows and doors give it very low quality scenery, but put a gift machine in it and people buy into it
Gift machines will always add value to a space, because it lets you give a item that might cost say $0.99 to your mates at no added cost to yourself or them, some of them even give a nice item like the animated tree from Creek Fall's. But i do agree that this space is a bit to much on the basic side, but that's due to how much spaces have come on of late, a year or so ago many would have been happy with a big open area space like this, but times have moved on, problem is it can take months to make a space, What we might be seeing happen is content that was started mid 2011 now coming out, problem is other company's have stepped up the level for personal spaces, but Sony still need to ship out there spaces at a cost or lose out on months of wages payed.
its just these last 3 looked rushed, incomplete or relying on gift machine, or relying on a bed you can lay on, Sony have made some of the nicest apartments before and the log cabin is still my favorite, just a massive let down for me as I love personnel spaces and the decorating of them, Sony must know what loot are up to as they own them and have let themselves down this time.
See that's the problem with company's like Sony, it's highly likely that SCEA Home hardly know what Loot are up to, to Loot submit the content to them to be given the green light, company's like Sony are loads of smaller companys all doing there own thing and Loot come the total other side of the Sony company also, so why they should know what Loot is up to, that's not always the case. It's like SCEA & SCEE don't always know what each other are up to or have been adding.
Why would Sony ought to know because they could step on each others toes, I know couple companies have upset they parent companies before, quite famously vw got upset when skoda released they brand new small car based completely on the brand vw small car before vw released they brand new small car, but I understand that they are all run seperately and Sony cleared the way for development of gift machine based apartments where loot were cleared for a little more dangerous out there stuff,
I have to agree. What a let down for a space. The Cutteridge Mansion is miles above this. And yet another Sony space with a Mansion Perk which is really nothing special. It's appears we are lucky to have some quality 3rd party developers. I don't buy a lot of spaces, just don't use them, but for me to get one it has to be special. And this one certainly isn't.
Call me crazy, but I'm really tired of being punished for not buying parts of the Mansion. If they are going to keep this up, I'm done with personal spaces. This is annoying. If the Mansion spaces came with more than 5 rewards, like The Dream Yacht did, then they would be worth paying 10 bucks each for. Hell, even if Sony could pull their heads out of their butts, long enough to stop screwing up the simplest things in Home, the Mansion spaces would be worth coughing up 10 bucks each to buy.
