Omigawd... don't let the Home NA staff hear this story! I guy in China just paid $16,000 for a virtual sword for a videogame!!! A game called Age of Wulin. Can you imagine that? Wow.... Also for sale was the Lordly Spear Sheath for only $2500. And the Hook of Departure Sheath for just $1600. That's not in-game dollars. That's REAL money! I just saw that on CNN. :right: we got the mansion and other mansion like products I wouldn't be surprised if they tried something in the hundreds area to see who would buy it. The sad part there will be people who buy it and what makes that worse is the item would more then likely be crap.
You're probably right Chyna about it not being made with quality artwork. Pricing of "premium" content is usually not reflective of the quality of work in manufacturing it. But People will pay extra money to feel they are one of the elite few that have something "special".
Put it this way, I wouldn't pay 16k if I was given a fully working PS4 right now, let alone 1 measly virtual item.
BTW, there is a related story I heard about an app for iphones. There is a "I am rich" app. It costs $999.99. It doesn't do a thing. It just sits there on your iphone screen with the other apps. It's just a status symbol. But there are people who have bought it.

How much would you pay for a virtual item, say a one off piece designed for you, an apartment, a outfit or even a public space named after you, how much is too much, could we have the one offs like hyperkanes monkey cage apartment or the firefly uber cool suit, the efb rabbit warren public space, or the hopper statue ornament, ill go for the aurora bench with my name engraved on it lol
