How is it that me & other PSN+ members are getting screwed over on beta games, DeadSpace2 & other PSN+ beta games me & a few others Plus members didn't get. Yet the one HCV on my list gets alot of the betas, i thought that being a member of PSN+ would mean equal treatment & opportunities for all members. There's probably alot of members out there & less then half of that get beta games the last beta i got was the Assassin's Creed brother hood & i see the HCV get nearly all of them. Themes great beta games better deals are given to a even more select group of PSN+ members it seems while the choices in the PSN+ store aren't worth it, So why in the world would i want PSN+ anymore. My friends have japanese accounts & HK accounts & on those accounts they get all kinds of notifications So why doesn't the U.S
Had psn plus for a month. Quickly realize I didn't wanted ps1 & 2 games or crappy minis. I didn't buy a ps3 for that. The avatars and themes are nothing special. The 60 min infamous demo knock my full game infamous trophies off my ps3. Never mind SCEA has never gotten anything right. So when they said the betas were only to given to some people. I demanded a full refund. Got it and never regretted it...
I can understand being underwhelmed by PSN+, but PSN? What's to feel cheated about - it's a free service that has lots of great games and Home. If you think other region are getting better stuff, check out the Euro PSN and then try to complain. We get a fraction of the PSOne titles, we get PSN titles delayed and often at an inflated cost. SCEA also does a far better job with promotions and special offer IMO.
Really I love that PSN is free but the u.s. PSHome gives us bad halloween costumes for our avatars our werewolf costumes looks like an old dirty rug, our halloween central plaza look like it was put together by a 5 year old it took them this long to actually give the u.s a better looking central plaza Only because they knew if they didn't do something the alot of u.s users would go 2 the u.k PSHome 4 christmas, The prices on the u.s PSHome are increasing ridiculously, *platinum dress exclusive $6.00 or more* virtual pets $2.99. The u.k PSHome has decent areas, Audi Car space u.s U.K has the Sucker Punch DC Online Green lantern trailers had that IronMan game, items from Wolverine, Watchmen U.K had actual Watchmen costumes, U.S Never saw those or anything from wolverine either, What U.S gets is Quantity not Quality, The U.K doesn't have alot compared to U.S PSHome but U.K items has more thought while U.S gets junk thrown at it, Apartments clothes areas look like something from the 1960s 70s & 80s
I used the UK store since the start and only switched about 3 months ago and while the UK has finally started to get some of the US content, it's still far behind. The pricing is far better in the US with more thought put into bundles and promotions each week and organised gaming get-together's. I know it's human nature to think the grass is greener on the other side - but after using the US Home for quite a while I have to say it's certainly better on the US side.
Better? the items on the U.S only 20% out of 100% are worth the price, The golden reaper costume by itself is $9.99 No bundle, The U.S gets junk thrown at the mall & then it's overpriced for what it is. I understand that the U.K prices are high but the items look better on the U.K PSHome, The U.S PSN Store blazblue extra characters $3.99 to $7.99 extra system voice $5.99 DeadRising 2 costumes $1.99 each & the prices are rising for downloads that aren't worth it. I love that PSN is free & sony has 2 get money 4 it somehow but U.S U.K & the other versions of PSN could be a little more reasonable with prices
You do realize that some of the prices aren't set by just Sony, if the prices are the same on a multiplat on xboxlive than that means it would be that way. You might be feeling cheated on just PSN with prices but that's not being cheated by PSN, that's the devs these days not wanting to put content that should be in in the game. I remember back in the day it would last forever trying to get everything now we just buy that junk. Also I feel the same way about the US home. We have nothing but junk. I love EU way better because the quality of most of their items is way better than ours on US home. The spaces are better looking too. The Shopping Centre or whatever they just got is really brilliant. The US needs a new CP, Gamer's Lounge, Mall, Movie Theater, and Bowling Alley. All the core spaces need makeovers and we need to throw out the useless spaces. I could probably think 5 of the top of my head spaces that should be kept.
I was thinking about that, if sony sets the prices for the downloadable content & i think the developers gives sony a price & sony has the last word Like XBOXLive, maybe. Some gaming companies are ridiculous with the content & prices, Some gaming companies get greedy & ridiculous with content prices. EA TheSims3 $9.99 to use their server & to download items for ur Sims that's ONLY A DIFFERENT COLOR, trade items & Sims When EA could have just made it online multi player. Or Capcom, overcharge for the StreetFighter4 costumes Now the prices drop because Capcom realise StreetFighter4 was horrible. The PSOne & PS2 game downloads, seriously! I had a PSOne i have a PS2 why should I buy PSOne or PS2 game data when i already have the game disk. It's understandable when your PS3 can't read game disk anymore & all you can play is the data. I'm SOOOO very happy PSN is free BUT i'm not spending money anymore for items that are ridiculous & overpriced. More & more downloadable content is getting that way.
I'm not sure what you mean about PS1 and 2 games. You can't buy PS2 games on PSN, yet. PS1 games are priced fairly imo. I was at a game store the other day and they had Final Fantasy VII for $75. Now I could buy that and play it on my PS1, 2, or 3 but I'd rather pay the $10 or $15 or whatever PSN charges.
Yea i know what you mean, GameStop tries to sell games like comic books. Marvel vs Capom GameStop was trying to sell for $85.00, Dragonball final bout was $90.00, GameStop is a horrible game store anyway. Some of those PSone games you can get for less then $10.00 at decent stores & i'm not paying $10.00 for a PSone game i already bought when it first came out & i still have. PSN was somewhat reasonable but i'm seeing more & more content, PSN PSN+ PShome unreasonably priced for what it is. I understand Sony has 2 make money but users work to hard to be paying for a gallon of quality & only getting a quarts worth
That's where the business part of it comes in. They first see how much people will pay for really bad quality items and then they raise it with some decent quality then make bad quality even higher. I could probably go through the whole mall and public space list and name which items and spaces are worth the money or the space.
I already know the bad spaces & items so does everyone one else but that's a matter of one's taste, the problem is judgement on the users part. Deciding if an item on home or PSN justifies the price your paying for it, alot of users are lacking in this area & PShome is taking advantage of it.
Ok here's an example of something ridiculous. I bought TheSims3 for $60.00 EA added TheSims3 downloadable content today, New hairstyles, The pack is $9.99 Just for hairstyles. Now this is when EA themselves could have added these hairstyles to the game & other content as well BUT they decided to give the bare minimum & then overcharge for the added content. It's only business, How's business when your customers uses their better judgement & see when your trying to rip them off, Sorry EA but i'm done buying the ridiculous at unreasonable prices
Well more news of the ridiculous, today i got a tour of the gold mansion, It look very nice & expensive. There's no price set just yet so who knows. I know it sounds like i'm whining but it's easy to complain when you spend money to sign up for PSN+ & feel you've haven't gotten your money's worth. The gold mansion was given to the HCVs to give tours which is nice, Unless they keep it 4 free, Why is it the HCVs are getting better deals then the PSN+ members, demos PSN+ members miss out on, first shot at certain items first shot at personal spaces Blah blah blah blah, HCV is a title created to give PSN users a sense of reason, What do they do? answer questions that would be solved if people didn't skip the PShome starting walk through. They don't give maintenance notification No PSN off line info. I asked one a question & they just pointed me 2 the forums, Anything beyond the starting walk through that's where they point u. So with what they do & what PSN+ members paid 4 PSN+ i ask you Do you think that's fair
My HK account, I get notifications about 20% off deals on PSone & PS2 titles, Standing in home squire on my HK account a PShome notification appears in the text box telling all there about the free prize given away from Irem (the text box notification just did the job of an HCV by the) The HK central squire was showing Gran Turismo5 interviews with the game developers & on the other side an anime PS3 game. HK PShome japanese PShome & U.K PShome users are getting quality items like those while u.s home users are getting more of a quantity of junk

The first space you buy will cost $14.99, then $9.99 and the lats two are $4.99 each, no matter which order you buy them. the same price. So $20.00 cards won't get you much anymore on home, Thank you but NO PShome Oh & the HCVs got the first floor free guess PSN+ doesn't cover items on PShome
i agree and to me the psn+ is a joke cause they say you can get free stuff from it but if you stop being a psn+ memeber you lose most of that free stuff. as for the dlc there only a few games i can see where you can add later on and it is ok like modnation or lbp. but i think for the most part the reason they have all this dlc now is to keep people from trading in there games after they beat them and make more money off of it which is sad. also keyeszx i think there is not many but there is a few ps2 games on the psn. i think both god of war one and two and prince of persia one and two. i think they are trying to test the waters to see if people are willing to buy them. i am not sure but i think they are 14.99 each. i would not buy them but that is cause i have them already lol
More & more of the downloadable content isn't worth buying like DeadRising2 StreetFighter4 & others & If Sony wants more users to sign up for PSN+ then they should offer better deals & content to the PSN+ members they've already got. I've read so many posts on other forums that those who have PSN+ aren't happy with it & some actually called & had their money for signing up to PSN+ refunded. PSNhome isn't any better the prices are causing alot of my friends to say things like thursdays aren't anything to look forward to except high prices.
i agree with you there, i mean the prices in home now are just crazy. but the only way sony is ever going to think about droping prices is to get everyone to stop buying stuff on home and the psn (like that would ever happen lol). if we could though i can almost bet the high prices would drop quick. as for the add-ons i think we can blame the hexbox for them cause i bet they are the one that started that crap. it is just sad that they can't just add that stuff to the game before hand i mean shoot we are already paying 60 buck for these darn games. next they will be wanting our first borns for a new hair duo lol.

I'm waiting to see if the u.s has to buy it, it was given to PSNhome users free on the U.k PSNhome probably one of the reasons the u.s playstation forums don't want people discussing other regions anymore, Hey the U.k gave that away free So why do we have to pay
