also if you haven't been on home in a while it takes longer. my cousin had not used home in a month and had to wait around 10 minutes, it was downloading the uncharted space. plus he had just done about 3 home updates.

Just a reminder to those that do that just to speed up the initial loading time - the reason it speeds it up is that when you start Home it pre-loads all the spaces and content that you have saved in your cache. So by deleting it it doesn't pre-load that data - However, and it's a big "however", you can easily spend more time having to re-download all those spaces and content once you are in Home, especially if you do not have a good high bandwidth internet connection.

Personally, I would not recommend deleting your cache - unless you have some other issues that might get fixed by re-downloading those spaces. This way you can do something else while Home is loading versus multiple delays while in Home when having to re-download spaces you wish to visit. I have also found that it takes a lot longer to browse through my wardrobe right after deleting the cache - as I suspect Home also uses the cache to save item images.

Bottom line is one way or the other it's going to take time, and at least in my experience, deleting the cache does shorten the initial loading time, but you pay for it with even more delays while trying to enjoy yourself in Home as it now has to re-download all that content, instead of just pre-loading it from the cache during the initial; start up.

My personal recommendation is to leave your cache alone, and even set it for the max (12MB) - which will make the initial load even longer, then go do something for a few minutes, then when you are ready to play Home you will have a much more fluid experience, then someone who clears their cache and then has to constantly download spaces they want to visit, and items they own.

    YMMV
