So I'm working on finishing up most Midway games, but Blue Balls remains un-leveled. I've beatin every other game except Bite Me, Lv 5, and Swingers, Lv 9. Blue Balls is Lv 0, and I've tried just about everything I can think of. I've search high and low for someone to say, oh yeah you just do this or that and it'll work. Nada! I've watched other people play, and they seem to be able to over shoot the jars, I can't even make it to the hole, let alone over shoot anything. I've tried just being patient, but come on, I've almost beatin all of Midway 1 and 2 and haven't even made Lv. 1 on Blue Balls, what is the key, what is the secret, what can I dooooooo.... Here is either maniacal laughter or baby sobing tears, not sure which way I feel.
this game is hard, I'm at the last level and it really is a timing thing. my timing is waaaaaaaayyyy off! and the midway is not working for me, my win's are not being recorded at all and I'm not getting rewards. good luck to you!
I've been having issues with this for a long time and finally found something online that sounds similar to my issue. When I hit the button, it will automatically throw the ball. I gather that the arrow thing should move outwards, and you can judge your distance that way. My arrow doesn't move, I just throw the ball at my feet basically. My question now has become how to remedy this situation? One more win for Gold Jacket.
Iggy i have the same problem with blue balls, I still 0-10 it never works for me no matter what ! hopefully i was able to get the golden jacket through scoring 10/10 in 10 different games (2 in midway2 ) 1 and (8 in midway 1 ) i cleared 95% of midway 1 but like 50% of midway 2 so u still can get the "Golden Jacket" without blue ball .....
I actually had the same thread removed from IGN because of the title, funny. Yeah I'm one win away from clearing Bell Ringer, Pop Goes the Weazel, and Swingers, level eight on almost everything in Midway 1 except Trigger Happy and Frog Flinger which I've cleared. So the golden jacket will be mine, probably tomorrow, if luck is on my side. On a side note, while trying to find infornmation about this I did find some random folks complaining about the titles of some of the Midway 2 games, actually stating they'll ban their children from playing. I just thought, man I'm glad that's not my mother.
BB can be a bit frustrating but with some focus it can be beaten. I would guess Mr. RayBlade has a tutorial or video somewhere on the official forums, but here's my thoughts. When you hit Play the blue arrow starts moving left to right, back and forth. Choose a direction, for example waiting for the arrow to always be moving in the left to right direction is a good habit to have for this game. When the arrow is in the middle of the milk jar, press and hold the X button. The arrow will now lengthen upwards until you release the X button wherein it will toss the ball whatever distance your release point is at. Note the point on the jar when you released the X button. If the ball is tossed to low or tossed over the milk jar, adjust the length of the arrow until it goes in. Stare at that point on the jar, memorizing exactly the spot that was just right. There's detail on the jar, note some particular detail and hit that spot and you will win. Best wishes, I know you can do it.
OMG !!! IGGY!!! if someone linked your last post here with the title, he/she might think u r talking about your (********) :whistling1: i have the same problem... when i press X nothing happens it just throws the BB .... I tried that many times and i keep getting the same result !
It's like Trillian said, you hold the button to extend the arrow (but it's still really hard). So, just to check your issue, you are *holding* the button and not just pressing it, yes? If so, sounds like a bug.
Just got my gold jacket, now I have seven more games at level 9 with only level 10 to finish them. Darla's Dart's is at lv. 7 because that is one difficult game, Bite Me is at level 5, because I'm not a calm well centered person who can play games without making crazy movements. And finally Blue Balls is still at Level 0. So I had a Japanese friend tell me last night, that each bumb of the arrow as it goes from left to right will extend the arrow, the more bumbs, the further it will go. I tried this approach with very limited success, meaning no success. Is there some truth to her theory?
