Hey, I heard that there will be a loot Cam that will record video. Is this the same camera that comes with the Loot stage bundle? Can other people in your apt use it?
Hi Firefly, Yes, the LOOT Active Camera was released on 9/30/11. It is essentially an upgrade of the old camera that could only take pictures, but can now record video and save to your HDD and upload to YouTube if you'd like. Yes it is the same one in the bundle, if you already own it, it would have been upgraded for free. If you don't own it, then it is $2.99. Unfortunately, only the owner of the item can use it in their personal space.

Im still in shock because I have one and I never expected it to be upgraded. I didnt know the old one took pictures just thought it was kind of an ornament that functioned. Too bad they cant upgrade the little ballerina so that she dances as long as you like.
I was happily surprised that the Loot Camera was upgraded as well. The camera doesn't take pictures or snapshots though, but the Loot PhotoScope does take snapshots.
