Looks very promising. I welcome Granzella into Home with open arms. There should be some really great things to come!!!
Frankly looks amazing. I suspect we'll see spaces with more capability and content that the older spaces. This may prove to be really nice. One can only wonder how long we will have to wait in North America before we see them.
For some reason, I think that the Edo Lounge almost looks too Japanese to be properly respected and appreciated in North America. Nonetheless, I certainly plan to appreciate it in Japan. It looks fascinating to me.
It seems they've captured the very essence of the edo period, I look forward to seeing what else they havve to offer!!
I'm wondering if it really does have AI people hanging out and dancing and such, or if those were other players with their names turned off. Cool if the town is populated.
Yep, new kimonos, new hairstyles, an onsen (hot spring), a new shooting gallery, and nightly Japanese folklore creatures! Fantastic! ^^ I wonder if the hint of those creatures is another day/night experience with the Granzella Beach space, or another upcoming hint on what's to come next April Fools'...
from the link Faga provided: http://j.mp/oFZLBU You can enjoy with your friends and chat in the virtual 3D game space reproduced in PlayStation3®. (flash movie here) Stick to the downtown main street which is always crowded with many people. Lined with shops and a large bathhouse, which looks like it has many people. NinkiOoakinaiYa ("Popular Trading Store") is a popular avenue dry goods store. Edokko also has swords and new hairstyles, footwear that attracts fashion-conscious visitors. Soak and relaxi on the second floor of the bathhouse. Scenic views of the boulevard from the window are always vibrant.
I can see most of the samurai outfits are now in different colors, even the kimonos, hats, and hairstyles. That's very nice! On top of that: The shooting Gallery is almost the same as Irem Square. Seems that they're planning on making a "festival event" sometime later in that space, which would be sweet under old Edo Japan.
Sweet! Looking forward to this space. Just hoping the prices aren't too steep(low on yen from Irem shopping spree). Shooting gallery is a plus too.
The Edo space looks great and I hit wikipedia to read up on the Edo Period, Edo Society and Edo. I love that we'll have a space designed around an important period in Japanese history and will be able to learn something about Japanese culture while having fun in the space!
