Fed up with games and reward hunts that are geared up towards someone by themselves I wanna find out what you guys consider to be the most social game / reward hunt in home to be. Could be bowling, could be mod nations back stage with one doing reward and another friend running around for you while you describe what you see on a headset ( sounds like cheating but it is funny ) so as quirky or as simple as you want.
I'd say the Hudson dolphy races. While it is common to "tune out" during the two waiting periods, many folks stay on and chat. What I'd like to see is card games with partners: spades, hearts, euchre, 500, pinochle, any of these would be nice. Perhaps a tournament space where it has you play with various partners would be an interesting way to do that. I've been playing card games since I was very small, but poker isn't my game.
well i think the best social games on home ever was....... wait for it ................. xi and ea poker ( like you didn't know someone was going to say them lol ). but as of right now i would have to say also dolphy races and ummmm and ummmm......ummmm oh i got it the mazes in the xi hub lol . there really isn't any games on home now where you need to talk to someone to play the game and some you don't even need to play the game with anyone. which i think is sad for the fact that was the whole point of home in the first place .
that is true gary ( if you have a headset ) but you don't have to talk to anyone or even have friends to play sodium one or two games. if you look at most of the games in home you don't need anyone to work with or even talk to complete the games at all. and yes you could say games like siren and nova prime have multiplayer but you really don't have to play with anyone in either game ( unless you want the alcove lol ). also most of the games on home you can't even talk while playing them unless you don't mind losing lol. there is no real social game in home right now, although there hasn't been that many to start with and i don't really see any coming soon.
true enough there isnt many games that I could name that need someone else to play with home or otherwise but I suppose its more about what we make social. I go bowling on home to take part ok I might win but ultimately theres no reward apart from the social aspect, dolphy racing is the same after u got the rewards wots left, same people there night after night racing dolphys for no other reason than being there.
It would be nice to have a true co-op type mini-game. There is however Chess and Checkers that you need to play with someone. It would seem like it would be easy enough to do some 2-player arcade games, like Pong, Missile Command, etc.
