Thanks for your post. I am happy to hear that the community is enjoying the Ford showroom. To answer your question on pixel size. I am not sure what the exact size this was built for. Let me do some digging and I will get back to you. Happy Gaming! Brian
That's much appreciated Brian! The original Harbour frames were rectangular. But worked best when you used a square image. Then it stretches that square image to fit. Diagonal lines look smoother that way. Harbour framed picts actually look more jagged if you stick a rectangular picture inside a rectangular frame. go figure! (Though I think I understand why after taking some 3d classes)
OK now that we got the 11 Rewards from the Ford space... Now What? Do they add more stuff later? Or what... Otherwise what would be the point of going back later if there are no New Rewards added to get us back to the space? AWW! Well... It would be nice if they updated the space with New rewards later... Just Saying... By: DCS
Hi Everyone- Sorry it has been so long since I've posted on the site. Things have been really crazy at work and everyone is very excited about the Ford showroom. What do you guys think? The space has been open for almost a month now. What else would you like to see from the showroom?
Oh wow, I thought it was a lot of fun!!! I happened to have been wearing my alien costume from the movie Alien, and all of a sudden he was on a podium and I got to see him dancing! The alien DANCING!!!!! That was during the music note minigame. Oh that was hilarious! OMG. That was totally unexpected. The first minigame was a little easy, but cool. I liked how it looked. The second was the hardest for me. And it was a bit frustrating to constantly have to get the same 3 notes before each music note mini game. But then that kept players from pounding that game.. You had to spend time running around before each attempt. And that helped reduce the load on the server. Which was good because I had little problem with lag times in your games. Sometimes in home your avatar freezes while the program is waiting for a server to respond. But that wasn't a problem here. There was one minor problem, but that's not your fault. There is a bug in the core Home program. If a mini game teleports or otherwise moves your avatars, it can forget to draw them on other people's screens. So you become invisible. Or it puts you in the wrong place. But that's not your problem. Just another Sony bug. The third game was REALLY FUN. It was very imaginative to use the cntroller's vibe to locate the little icons. Very fun too. I think the prizes were really nice too! The picture frame was especially nice. I love the curve to the picture surface and the gloss to it. It will be something I will definitely use in the future. If I had to make a suggestion to improve this, and believe me this is a small criticism, it would be the guy you made. Good body, but you didn't really give him 'character' or personality. I tink if you woul have given him a brief audio of "welcome to the Ford lounge!" when we first interacted with him would have made him more personable. but that's me being picky. You guys did a good job. And have reason to be proud of yourselves. As for what else I would likento see? ..... Well... I'm still petitioning for that Shelby mustang! Blue with white stripes. Full size. ;D
To be true i have only personally been back to the space a few times from after it launched, the mini-games where great and fun but outside of that, there is not to much to personally keep me returning, but thats the same for alot of spaces in Home. It be nice if the space was updated with the launch of new cars to show them off and maybe if Ford have a TV show, show that within the space.
Something else that might be good to keep people going back is a Ford based quiz. I'm sure a big database of stuff about Ford could be made that the quiz random pulls from to keep the quiz fresh. maybe the odd rewards from it also.
the model cars audi did were pretty good on there stands but there were only three be nice to get collection of cars and a space to show them off in
basically do everything audi has done in scee, personal space, games etc. to keep people coming back to the place to see your advertisements.
any advertising or way of keeping they product in your thoughts is good. Just putting it in forum and discussing it is good for them.
So people dont use interest the space needs mini games such as a quiz as suggested by Carla but instead of points you win gallons of gas and maybe when you accumulate enough gas, a high number of gas obviously so people keep coming back to the space, which will get your car on the quiz to a reward of a Ford themed apartment.
A huge thanks to Ford for the showroom, games, and rewards. The showroom was great for SYNC but maybe can be updated to included more Ford products past, present, and future. Games were awesome. Maybe we could get some more in the future please. Rewards have been good except the dancing SYNC outfits. The digital picture frame has a glare if that could be fixed I would use the frame more. I would love to see a Ford professional garage personal space with different cars we choose to display in the space. Thanks for reading. I believe with Playstation Home anything is possible.
I miss you guys on here! I didnt get the hoodie and the mp3 rewards lol. I really hope you will bring back another Ford Space, if do that, that would be great
