I'm afraid I'm rather main stream in my Anime tastes. Ghost in the Shell (all films and the two SAC seasons owned) is probably my favourite. I very much like Spirited Away and the Urotsokidoji series too, but then again, so does averyone else. Is Escaflowne any good? Seems you can get the whole thing quite cheap lately. I'm cautious after buying the Heat Guy J set cheap and not really getting into it.
When it comes to anime series, its usually "word of mouth" from friends as well depend on the artistic style of how the anime is made. I like Studio 4 Degree Celsius animation and they are very stylistic and uniquely animated. I don't really buy anime as much as I used to and only download it via torrent these days because I would prefer to get the series ahead of time and free as fansubs. If a fansubs series is worthy my attention then I will wait until Blu-ray is release in North America and buy it.

I liked those Dead Fantasys. those are pretty good. Brutal on Tifa though. There's HD versions of that too. I downloaded those. Thanks for introducing me to them. I liked them alot
