@nDreamersnDreams Ltd Pleased to say that Aurora received >1 million visits in the first six weeks it was live; more than the London Eye and Taj Mahal combined! Thanks to everyone who has been visiting; Aurora 1.1 is on track for global release next week and we have LOTS more on the way!
Great idea, a Twitcher and Lucielle companion would go nice with the outfits; so we can take Aurora wherever we go
Thanks to the Auroralite hoody and the daily bonuses, I'm collecting xp alot faster and should easily receive the lvl 75 reward on Sunday. XD
The Level 75 reward is Jane's Love Seat "A floating love seat named in honour of the first woman to step foot on Aurora."
I'm at Level 60 now, close to 61 soon. I'm loving this jacket, and I'm feeling like I'm getting closer and closer to the other rewards...
collect o rama is like a loyalty bonus I didnt realise how much I had done till I saw that I only had 3 things to do to get it lol which Ive now done. Shame you cant ride the doomnut
Question about Aurora extra xp when visiting the space each day.. 200xp is the max right ? Does it stay at 200 if you go everyday unless you miss a day then it goes to 50. I haven't missed a day and when i went today it said it would give me 50xp next time i joined, first day they updated the space i got 100xp and next day 200 so i don't know what happened..
Have a feeling that pirate ship cannon will keep me from getting the 12 rewards. I loathe that game. I never played it again after I managed to score 4000 once and get all the rewards.
Well said! This is the collect-o-rama challenge that I struggled with the most. It's awful. Still, here's some tips: - You need OVER 4500 points to qualify. 4500 exactly will not count. Trust me. It happpened to me. - Most ships are worth 100 points, but the ghost ships are worth 1000 points! These are the way to go if you want that score. - As you play, note the markings on the cannon barrel. These provide a point of reference for guaging your level of tilt. Be carefull though as knowing that it needs to be "just below that swirly bit over there" is only useful at a set angle of rotation. The swirly bit may not be visible if you rotate the canon for example. So, note your reference points with the canon straight, then, if you need to aim, try to rotate without changing elevation. - If just going for 4500, you only really need to find the range for the ghost ships. Learn the angle of elevation and which markings it lines up with, leave canon where it is and never move it, shoot five ships. Job done. They are always at the same distance. It's an annoying challenge so I hope this helps a little.
Don't feel so bad Drake, with a little practice I'm sure you be smacking those Ghost Ships in no time and will get your quota. It's simply timing, and once you figure out the distance to them, you'll rack up the points very quickly. i wish you the best of luck! [HR][/HR] [SUP]As for myself, however… there's little chance of my completing all 12 "tasks". In fact, thus far I've scored a whopping 3 in NA (my home region), and managed to somehow score a miraculous 5 in the UK. And should the Collect-O-Rama device appear in HK or JPN, it'll likely be back to a mere 3 tops for me in those regions. While it's possible I might be able to complete the 3-4 personal space rewards with someone's assistance (I've never even seen the Aurora or Musicality areas yet), there are 5 tasks I'll never complete under any circumstances — those which have a purchase requirement attached to them. [/SUP]issed:[SUP] Lets see… I'd have to fork out at least $16.43 to obtain a few items I have zero interest in owning (or $39.39 minimum if you add in the personal spaces) — all so I can get some additional "free" rewards, most of which I again have no interest in owning (there were 3-4 I felt were ok). In my book, that a seriously poor investment. Overall, I find the entire idea behind the "Collect-O-Rama" to be rather misleading… and somewhat insulting. So much so, the great esteem I hold for nDreams has just dropped a notch. Why misleading? nDreams is offering up some additional rewards as a motivation to complete 12 tasks — "tasks"… which implies some sort of skill-based challenge requirement across the various nDreams minigames, similar to trophies in our PS3 titles. And indeed that's the case… for a mere 3 tasks. All the remaining "tasks" involve nothing more mind-taxing than knowing how to press the "Add to Cart" and "Checkout" buttons. This hardly qualifies as a "task"; it's greed, plain & simple. [/SUP][SUP] Whatever happened to deeds putting someone on their mettle, and rewarding them based on their performance? No, instead our loyalties and rewards are now based only upon how well — and how much — a company (or our corrupt politicians) can convince us to buy the privilege for outright… No thanks. [/SUP]
To be fair, I believe that certain "tasks" are required for each. Having said that, anybody who bought the Musicality apartment and then didn't perform on stage is rather missing the entire point. This feels like more of a loyalty scheme than a task based challenge, I agree, but at least there are tasks to perform for those who already own plenty of nDreams products. Thankfully I love nDreams products so it was easy for me. I had all but three tasks on arrival. I had gone there with a friend and added a random person to get the visiting challenge. I then changed costume and danced for another, leaving just the pirate challenge, which taxed me at first but I got there after a few goes.
i have toi agree with baron on this, on my na account i have 2 of the so called tasks and 3 on my eu account ( thanks to the welcome back pack lol ). now i know that i will get a few more when i get higher in level and if i really wanted to talk a friend into letting me play the minigames i could get a few more. but there is no way i am going to spend money on items just cause they made it a task. it reminds me to much of that tree we had in the plaza a few years back and we all know how well that went over with everyone lol. to me it is just a cheap way to get people to buy there stuff instead of coming up with a real task to challenge people. now don't get me wrong i would love to have the stuff from the collect-o-rama and of the items you need to get, i would like to have and if i had the money to spend on them i would have had them already.
forums perfect place to solve it lets see whos got wot to complete collect o rama n see if they will help you out
Good plan. I have already completed collect-o-rama in the EU and that's the only region I use (apart from visiting apartments of US friends) so if anybody would like to use my apartments or whatever to complete this then send a PSN friend request and I'll try to help. Please include a comment on the FR though. I delete blank FRs if I don't recognise the name.
that's very kind of you, if it's not too much trouble I would like to accept your offer. I only need the apartment specific one's to complete the collect o rama.
