Hi folks, I was contacted by someone at Sony earlier, and was asked to please spread the following information… so here goes… As many of you know, today's release of the "SCEA Welcome Back Program" has resulted in heavy network traffic on Sony servers, resulting in error messages, lag, and other connectivity issues. One very annoying issue that can occur is the disappearance of the free game options in the PSN Store when attempting to select to select your two free PS3 and/or PSP games.:blink: From all appearances, it looks as if you've completely lost one (or more) of your free game downloads. Not a pleasant thing to experience. :cursing: Thankfully, there's a very quick and easy solution for this problem, and you'll be back to downloading your free game without having to contact Sony. :clapping: From your PS3's XMB, go to "PlayStation®Network" > "Account Management" > "Transaction Management" > "Services List" > "SCEA Promotion".Next, select the "Welcome Back: Free PS3™ Game" or "Welcome Back: Free PSP® Game" transaction that disappeared. The correct transaction will show a "Remaining 1" count.Finally, choose the "Select Content" option to reload the PSN Store with all the game options restored, and start downloading! Please be aware that you'll likely see several "An error has occurred (80710D36)" messages while trying to get to your transaction. If that occurs, just back up one step and try it again. It may take a few tries, but it WILL work. Hope this saves many of you an unnecessary headache… Good luck!
I can't get the store to load to get it so guess i'll wait until there less traffic or they fix it.. But good to know if it messes up..
I had to do that earlier. It's a pain when you have to do it at least five times because the errors you get, since everyone else is trying to get their free games.
This worked for me, thanks for the tip. I was able to select infamous, but 2nd one wouldn't show up. Very very nice.
Yeah! Thanks man! I had BOTH games dissappear! I will try this when I get home (HOME) anyway! I did manage to get my 100 freebies for my Home!
Just give it until next week when all the congestion slows down. That's what plan on doing for the 100 free home items.
This information became helpful after I had selected the Welcome Back: Free PS3 Games Ticket then a few days later went to claim the 2 games I had decided on. When I went to the Store the choice of games was absent. Therefore, I went into Acct Mgmt and Services List and selected the Welcome Back: Free PS3 Games Ticket again. When I did it immediately brought me to the Store and the list of game choices that I could not find. Thanks for the info. I think I might have every game downloaded or at least reserved that was offered since I have 2 NA, 2 HK, 2 EU and 1 JP accounts active prior to the outage. ;D
