I use photo frames, i put in personal memorys of fun times i have had with mates in Home and that, i find it really makes a space more personal. But with photo frames, always keep in mind that EU users can not see them in less its a wall poster.
If you buy one the photo frames that support that yes you can, but many have preset images so be care full what ones you buy Also if your in the EU you will not find any as the systems not supported
keep in mind different frames are different sizes. the Loot ones are bigger than the harbour ones. There's also a sunset/ameterasu frame that is pretty nice. the dolphy frames are smaller but give you a dolphy skin
I bought the Amaterasu frame ($0.99 from Loot). Looks great - so far I put in scenic photos I took in Home. For example a shot of the Earth from the Space Station, view from the pool area of the Mansion, and the bridge in the Playground. Plus if you ever have a get together, you can snap a shot and upload to your frame right there, which is pretty cool. You can get a free gold frame if you visit a friend's Mansion, but it's a lot smaller.
i just stuck with he harbor frame. i got it when it was on sale for 50 cents. i just google up movie posters to put in it. in my hollywood hills house i have all 12 slots filled. it looks awesome. i also put the stars wars trilogy 1997 special edition posters in my novas prime personal space. the black metal frame is bigger that harbor studio but i thinks its $2 or $3. harbor is only $1 now.
I like the big frames like the original studio frame or the new Amaterasu frame... I like to place random stuff that I like on these frames but I also place pictures of myself in order to let my good and or new friends meet the real life me. It rocks!!
That's a big influence when i buy apartments, how many frames i can add. So far my favorite frame is the BlackMetal, it's silver large frame only problem is a glare. Haven't tried the Amaterasu frame though.
I use picture frames in my private spaces. I have the basic one, the locoloco, one of the dolphies and recently bought the Amaterasu (huge one). Also got the golden one from mansion but it's really small sadly. At the begining, i've used the frames to display some picts taken from any spaces in any home. But since i've acquired the Mansion spaces, i thought i could use the golden frames inside to display some masterpieces of Da Vinci, Rafaello and many many others. Finally, i've decided to do the same in my other spaces, so now i've some Japanese art displayed in my personnal spaces in Japan and Hong Kong and in my others US spaces, the frames are used to display some vintage adverts or art nouveau. But i must say that when you have too many pictures on your PS3, it's really hard to choose and sometimes, the system bugs by displaying another picture, especially if you pick one that lays in the bottom of the list.
I have picture frames. I put pics of me in them, or pics of evil bunnies with weapons, or pics of Home pics I've taken, or even pics of stuff that interests me. There's a lot of uses for picture frames.
