Thanks all. Sorry Sam you were about 10 seconds behind me. then Hopper, Chad (said he had passed by the hiding spot already), then trillian and angel. I looked at the first clue for a minute and said Motorstorm, Socom, Playground, Infamous, etc. Motorstorm stood out and was also the 1st place that came upon to download. I use to hide from friends in that corner a long time ago. If anyone wants to add me and visit I will add you. I got busy all of a sudden and now I'm at Carla's Paradise. So I can't invite you at this time. Thanks YourPlayStationHome !!! Awesome space sauce! ;D EDIT: D'oh. It's on my EU account hyperkane_UK and I will be on later tonight.
Thankyou Jonaso, i tried sunday but went the wrong way, socom, R2, Playground & MS was last on my list plus i was dl it :/ this time i dl every home space lol. Like to say thankyou to Carla for running this competition & weldone to all the others who have won also. Wips
Congrats wip3out, I'm very lucky I won on the 1st day, as I would never have gotten to the correct spaces in time yesterday or today, thought todays was far cry, Doh!
Congrats again Wip3out! I think runner-up to the runner-up to the runner-up to the runner-up to the runner up (oh geez where am I) to the runner-up to the runner-up to the runner-up should get a t-shirt maybe. Oh yh, remembered where I was. In HK. Looking at my clock and seeing I had two minutes to leave HK and log into EU Home (7:58 for 8:00 contest). Not the best tactic to win a contest based partly on finding something quickly. ;D Plus, all that brilliantly timed loading of 20 Home locations 10 minutes before the previous hide-and-seek was wasted since I found myself still loading the wrong places whilst everyone else was having a party at the right place. I'm gonna go hide now.
Heh, I wish...in contests like these its either you win or lose. You get congratulated and praised for your excellent recollection of Home spaces and quick wit if you win. The rest, one one gives a crap about....even if you are literally one step behind the person who won....3 days in a row....no one cares. Bit of a swift kick to the balls to have literally come in second three days in a row. It was a fun contest but a chip to my self pride that I was so close, all 3 days, and walk away with nothing. I guess I can blame the fact that I haven't visited all the public spaces in such a long time that I wasn't able to recognize some of the pictures immediately like most of you did. I also wish they could have lasted a little longer than 10 minutes each, I guess people know their Home spaces. Btw Trill, this isn't an attack towards you, just me venting in general. I tend to get competitive and hate when I lose, please don't take it as a personal attack to your reply.
lol Trillian--funny stuff there....I know exactly how you feel. I barely got into Home in time because of the dreaded (and extremely aggravating) PSN log-in BS.....and then once I did get in, I didnt have spaces downloaded that I havent been to in awhile because of the last time I deleted/re-installed Home! Oh the joy I was feeling once I found everyone at the Red Bull space about 10 minutes after Carla had been found lol Congrats to the winners and kudos to Carla for having the contest.
@ KCC no probs at all, my whole post was meant in good humor, maybe with some self-directed animosity if anything. Oh we care, we care about you Chad! You're a one-step-behind winner to all of us. I imagine being so close would bother a person more than dead last. So if you ever want to feel better, just finish last, like me. I feel terrific! Certainly much better than getting kicked in the wrong spot. Better get some ice for that. (muttering to herself) anywho i don't care about no stoopid supa cool free space with a game in it, sniff.
I lot of very competitive people here on this forum. Even before I won Sunday I was thinking how fair and fun the contest was, unlike so many contest that were introduced on other site(s). Be it, a well thought out concept or having learned from others mistakes, this contest was put together well and Carla did an excellent job of promoting and running it. Nice job and I bet they only get better in the future. P.S. I'm so glad we didn't have dozens of criers posting like we have seen so much of in the past of on other sites. Congrats to the winners and the runner, runner, runner ups!
