....and GZ makes a sudden and unexpected return with what?........more clothes. Ugh. However, Home desperately needs this developer. They are still the only ones who figured out how to maximize Home's resources and capabilities...within its limitations. In terms of pure programming talent, vision, resources and attention to detail, no other developer has ever even come close to doing what GZ has done in Home. I'm not sure why the re-entry at this point, but I guess we'll see what more (if anything) they have in store.
It's a game project they are working on. It is not clear whether or not that game will ever see the light of day. It may be an intern project they are involved in.
With the lack-luster updates we have been getting lately, ANYTHING Gz is doing in Home is more than welcome by me! I just hope this keeps going and not a hit-or-miss deal.
As near as I can tell, I think what I see on that screen is a detailed plan that includes them sending real Kikai soldiers to Adrian's house to perform an abduction??? I could be wrong, but that's about the best I can do with it.
Around late 2012, Granzella added a new office located in a university where the city funds start-up/small businesses and a place to interact with the university network. They are using that office to achieve in getting new people, especially students, involved with game creating. They have announced that they are working on several projects with students. Their first work was the Mononoke Race. Their second was told to be a standalone game programmed with Unity, but there haven't been any news for it for a while. They also haven't updated their status on when their games are coming out. They said "several releases in March", but now it's May with none released so far. It's a common trend by them since the Irem days, but I wish they can get things together better.
Glad to see GZ finally making more Home content. I guess that making the GZ gift machine a few months ago made people happy at least, since they knew they were behind a few holiday events this year - Setsubun, April Fools, etc. At least now, they're trying to make games that'll interest Home or the PS3 & PS4.
The good think with Granzella, is the level of design and detail is mostly always high why at the same time they try and keep the cost low, what makes for great value.

Yeah but Home dev's are small companies, they don't have the cash to be brave when 1 mistake could put them all out of a job because Sony will not say what they plan for Home.

Problem is to make a big public space thats good is like 4-6 months of work. Devs just dont know and can not count on Home being here in 6 months time. Never mind the time after the launch for them to start make money off the space. So they stuck having to make items they can turn a profit on, really is only 1 company to blame and thats Sony for not having the balls to tell the community, users and devs a like whats going on.
