Thanks Sam… I do tend to babble on a bit at times (okay, too often). The Chapter 1 info wasn't entirely known at riroa… they "thought" you needed at least some "A"- & "B-"rank items before it unlocked. I just assume the better creatures you have, the quicker it'll appear. Couldn't find anything thus far with a better explanation. Still looking… I'll add here if/when I learn anything else. Some others users must have also received all five books already… hopefully they can add their thoughts to this. C'ya… [fieldset=Sterling Malory Archer][justif]"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Thank you very much Baron, and yes I confirm what Sam said about Chapter 1. I've never made any A or S rank monster so I guess you just need to make tons of monsters to unlock it. My list of monsters is at 46%, I still need one to complete the B rank family. However, I still miss some of the weapons given randomly, like the devil sword and others I don't remember. I like Peakvox Monsters, it's not my favorite game though. I stopped playing a while ago in Japan. I prefer by far Peakvox ninja
I still need to play more of Peakvox Labs and Monster. Still need to upgrade my pets for solo missions and beat them to unlock the Ayakashi, then upgrade my 2nd gen pets and beat their solo missions to unlock Dragoon and finally Hibiki. I am returning to Labs for pet making and armor/weapon making. Also, I'm trying to finish up Peakvox Ninja for the Level 50 Ninja Mech suit, which boosts my defense more.
I got the cotton cat from shoei kingdom after today's maintenance. It start a new vote, any idea which one to vote ?
The next vote is choice, and you get to choose a Valentine chocolate box from either the fortune teller or the maid. Here's the pictures and good luck. This one's gonna be tough. Both look really good, but there could only be one winner. Seriously, I hope SCEJ will have a final choice vote and end it all with a combination of all winning items vs. all losing items, or add a vs. both winning and losing items for a 3 way choice. lol ・占い師からのバレンタインチョコ ・メイドからのバレンタインチョコ
As Recca said just above, the new "Do the Vote" went up today in Shouei Kingdom | 照英王国. ¹ [justif]¹ Side Note: For those interested, "Shouei" translates as "Shining English"… therefore "Shining English Kingdom". Just thought I'd mention this, since I don't think it ever came up here before.[/justif] Here's the text shown when you select it, along with the translation. [/fieldset] Good luck with which prize you choose! Myself, I'm rather partial to the "Chocolate Maid" prize — I just feel the round box would present better when displayed (the rectangular box seems too dark), plus the Maid is just adorable. Even so, I've not yet cast my own final vote. I'm going to ponder the two choices a bit more first… [fieldset=Sterling Malory Archer][justif]"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. I'm thinking on the maid box too with the same reasons as Baron Brain, but not casting my vote just yet. lol
Yeah the maid is more iconic and famous in Japanese media, hence I wager the majority of users would rather have a gift from someone wearing that costume. As usual though, we're probably all wrong.
Thanks Guys, it's chocolate gift for valentine's day. It's really a hardly pick one. Since I remember the voting item for purple wall handing item from the pass, the winning is fortune teller. maybe the people like fortune teller more than the maid. (but could be just the design of the item) Damn ! I need to think about it very carefully before voting. ---------- fortune teller chocolate has 8 pieces of chocolate maid chocolate has 7 pieces of chocolate Hmmm....kitty still prefer fortune teller chocolate nom nom nom ..... LOL ---------- Chocolate Fortune-Teller
Talk about a hard choice this time. Remember, you don't need to vote right this second…you've got until Feb. 4th. I do love the Fortune Teller item, it's rather dark & mysterious. Nice! But as I said earlier, I just feel the Maid box would display better overall within most personal spaces. Such a difficult choice! My wife said I should vote for the Fortune Teller box since it was just "better". Argh! Also, Maid items are way more popular here, and relatively few Fortune Teller items have been released that might seriously work in its favor. Just a thought. So yeah, not voting just yet, [fieldset=Sterling Malory Archer][justif]"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. I did mention that this is gonna be tough. lol I think Okamiwolf hit the nail on the head that most guys would prefer something from the maid. It's not only iconic, but the box is pretty, very decorative, and the chocolates have a bit of razzle-dazzle than the fortune teller's, as seen in the pictures. Also, it's probably the best one for personal spaces. The women would probably think so too. Besides, I showed my mom the pictures and she chose the maid box. lol
If I am a hard core otaku guy, I am 200% sure just vote for the maid without thinking of anything. But, for a kitty cat likes me, I can't made a choice in a short time. maid & fortune teller, 7 pieces of choco and 8 pieces of choco...... Argh !!!! I have no idea right now. can I try the chocolate before voting ?
My wife still insists the darker "Fortune Teller Chocolate" is simply better. She also thinks Azusa's mini-cutout was just a cuter pose over Ayame's. She just liked the container box better. Frankly the amount of chocolates in the box never even entered the picture for either of us. It was all about presentation. Oh, and if you're reading Recca, just got an email back from Kat. Here's what she says on the "Vote" question: There you have it… my thoughts exactly. (Guess I now know which "Vote" choice I need to select for her in Shouei too.) Whichever box does win, I'm just glad the developers are still updating the space, especially as the Show-A Gold series ended it's broadcast run in April 2013. Not too shabby… [fieldset=Sterling Malory Archer][justif]"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Well, it is nice in a sense, but frankly too many of them are disappointed with the voting system, and anyone that voted wrong doesn't get the winning item after the choice vote has ended. I'm just hoping that they'll mix up the current rewards with something different or have that final round with everything as I mentioned earlier before (like Liar Game's Majority Vote event). It was fun before and getting whatever the item that won from the videos was usually a surprise no matter what you voted on, but now it's tearing people's hair out. Trust me. Afromaniacgreen told me so when he was blogging and talking with his friends within Japan Home. They really wish they can get the items that had won before and had probably told SCEJ about how this was upsetting and demand some sort of comeback for the rewards that had been won and lost. I'm in the same boat like the rest of them. I think I'll pick the maid box. It's definitely cute!
Same here… Kat and I are both going for the round "Chocolate Maid" box for the same reasons… Kat: "Round box is cuter. Choco Maid!" Moi: Cute? Indeed. But I still feel it also displays better for any occasion. Just way more practical. 'Nuff said. This vote's going to be interesting…! Yeah, knowing my Japanese, I'm hearing people talk about them voting maid and how kawaii it is. lol I think this one's definitely a winner, and besides, wouldn't guys like a cute box from girls on Valentine's Day? Not to mention, any girl would definitely choose a prettier box of chocolates than a plain old ordinary one to send to someone they love - friendship or relationship.
Ha ha, very true Recca… unless you happen to be she who is Paula (wifey). She really does feel the Maid Choco box to be just "blah" overall. It's fine for the chocolates, but once those were devoured, she'd chuck the box straight into the nearest trash bin. But the Fortune Teller Choco box is a great design, dark & mysterious and full of gypsy wonder. The box looks like something that's been around for generations, and will be around for many more. Plus she thinks the Fortune Teller standee is just a cuter pose. However, Paula's thinking about this from a real-world viewpoint, not a virtual one. In reality, I absolutely agree with her — I'd love to get a Fortune Teller box like this on St. Vampire's Day (or any other time, regardless of any chocolate content; but yummy surprise treats are always welcome). It's just an awesome box. But as Home is not the real world (for many of us, anyway), her thinking doesn't quite apply. Since this is a "Do the Vote!" effort, there are certain things one must take into consideration if you hope to win that majority-vote box reward. In the virtual Home environment, the Maid Box just kicks ass. As I said in an earlier post, I just feel it would display better in most spaces over the other. Plus you must also take into account the current Japanese culture and the younger crowd's obsession over "cute" things. That style of round box, with a ring of hearts, and full of chocolate is indeed considered 可愛い (kawaii) — it's what they'd all hope to give & receive for V.D.ay, especially if their only other option was the dark Fortune Teller style. So for this current "Vote", the "Maid Chocolate" is definitely the preferable choice… …while here in real-life Hell-Ay, Paula & I (along with most friends) would absolutely grab the "Fortune Teller Chocolate" — the super-cute frou-frou obsession just doesn't … well, catch our fancy, not in the least. Except for the chocolate… they're always welcome. Just as long as none of those nasty mint-flavored ones sneak in. Ick. Or dark chocolates (not my fave, though Paula likes them). Alright you Modern Reward Hunters, listen up! You see this? This... is my Maid Chocolate box! This seven-chocolate packaged masterpiece is Shouei's top of the line. You can vote for this just outside the Kingdom Projection Room. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Shouei Kingdom, Japan. Retails for absolutely nothing if you win it. It's got a round ash base, heartwood top, and heart patterns around the lid, That's right. Shop smart. Shop Shouei-Mart. You got that? Oh…one final thought. Remember that comment quoted at the top? The Fortune Teller box isn't exactly "plain"… [fieldset=Sterling Malory Archer][justif]"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Heck no BB I'd still grab the round box in real life. The Fortune Teller box, with that somber purple hue, recessed edges and the way its lid is askew? Sorry folks it looks like a... well... coffin sarcophagus. Coffins are definitely not kawaii except to the gothic crowd. Baron I sure wish you had been here for the white versus green/red Christmas Tree vote. How the bleep would I have known that SCEJ had given out 4 or 5 green trees as previous rewards, and that celebrating a "white Christmas" is a hotter ticket item for people in Nihon??
hiya Kindle… What can I say? Much of our non-Home crowd (have many tastes that differ from society's lame concept of "normal". Every person is different, so there's no true "normal" baseline (except for those involving certain criminal activities, etc.). Only the individual really knows what's "normal" for him. We all like what we'd like, for reasons others may not understand. But you don't have to… it's just our own personal preferences As an example, my wife & I would love to have found a residence similar to this when we were searching 13 years ago: Yes, that's The Addams Family TV residence at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. And a cemetery next door was fine with us. But it would need modern plumbing & conveniences installed, as well as a decent power supply for all our tech! But gothic homes like these are quite rare in our area. We'd be better off build it ourselves (which was rather more than we could afford at the time). So we may find each other's tastes a bit unusual at times, big deal… that's what makes things interesting. If we all thought the same and liked the exact same things, the world would be a seriously boring place And yes, we still far prefer the somber purple tones of the gypsy doom box to the creepy round one (would be okay without all the hearts everywhere).it would fit in great with the gothic manor. Oh, and I still also feel that Home's rampant microtransaction campaign is a ripoff scam — a brilliant one, but still a ripoff scam. How's that for contrary! heh heh heh… Tune in next time... same Bat-site, same Bat-forums. Have a good one! [fieldset=Sterling Malory Archer][justif]"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God.
