I've been trying to find information on this and I want to know if this is still accurate. I have a club that I plan to dispatch and remake it. I'm afraid that I would have to wait 3 months to create another. My club members and I are bummed out about that.
First time I heard of this 3 month thing. There was a time I was creating and dispatching several times on 1 day because I keep changing my mind on what I wanted to name my club. Perhaps your talking about using the same name with a different tag? Then you can't. (or was it the other way. can't use the same tag on a different club name? forgot which or could be both.)
Clubs can be set up right away again, but when your disband a club name you can not start a club with same name again. This stops people hi-jacking a clubs name if you disband it. I don't recall how long the name stays in active for but 3 months sounds about right.
Wait - does that mean if I create and disband a club, I can still regain the same club name that I had 3 months earlier, if I want it again? Has it always been like that? It sure would free up the block list on the club server end. I want to follow up on faga's question above, about Tag Labels. What are even they for, exactly? Since we're only given an 8 character string to create a club Tag, I mean I can't see how useful they'd be as a descriptor. Are they to help people Search for a particular club that might have non-standard characters? Can you have different Clubs with the same Tag? There's too much unexplained stuff about Club creation "features". I don't even know what the Club Leader sees when he gets a Request to Join-- if he has his privacy settings set to Friends Only, perhaps he'll never actually receive Invite requests....
