Gold Rush in the Western Frontier? 100 free gold per day forever? Hmm… looks like my suspicions that the high prices there would turn it into a ghost town might have been right on the money (pun intended). Well, I'm liking this news. Despite the ridiculously high prices of the content there, it's still a great looking space and the mini games are fun. I guess I'll have to mosey on down and check it out. Edit: Then again, I just realized this is the EU update. I hope NA get's this as well.
My thoughts exactly. Has potential, but it sucked away your gold almost immediately previously (*cough* shooting gallery *cough*), and the costs were rather variable. Wow, small update in EU. Hope this isn't a trend... It's nice to see the Flying High expansion pack on sale, might pick that up. Rustbukkit: I can confirm the free 100 gold in Western Frontier is now available in NA. It launched last week. I grabbed up some gold myself!
Still bad? Then I assume it's not yet ready for primetime… *sigh* Must be dreadful now, considering the excessively slow Sony servers we've all faced over the past few weeks. When I teleported over on opening day, I made the huge error of clicking on the map. After which I just sat there for several minutes with my thumbs up my ass donkey, before it finally took me elsewhere. That's nearly an eternity in "game" time. (From all appearances, my PS3 was locked up.) Must be someone hidden within the saloon writing live game code for each user after selecting the town map… For now, think I'll just do a quick hop to the Western Frontier (when I'm in Home) solely to collect the gold for (possible) future use. I have not even loaded Home in the last week or two, I guess its a new year hang over when it comes to content.
Only reason I've loaded up Home recently was to do challenges, speaking of which I noticed when I did the RC Rally challenges all my game progress has reset
Updates have been only really item based for a while now. Very little was released in 2013 with any longevity to it. Can anyone remember without looking what clothes items were released 8 weeks ago. I never knew we get 100 gold. Gameplay is on a par with red dead, ie- mostly appaling incredibly tedious, slow interactions, difficult to locate the right spot at times, Graphics, well.... we're back at 16/32 bit computers? sounds are reasonable. Some nice sitting, esp. Sitting up high on the fence in mining, looking down at the river. Wanderin' around a bit aimlessly...... how do I get free personal space.... let me see...
They never said it costs gold to do shooting game pah! Granzella speak Japanese but they communicate better than Western frontier.
