From reading the announcement from granzella, the centipede stage is not an event. Just an additional stage that you can choose to the game that they promised 2 years ago. Whether they will add rewards to it is unknown though.

Oh really? Well, that explains a lot. Do you think it'll be the same rewards from the past V-Day event? Perhaps making the Centipede sword? I guess we'll have to find out later.

I got a new box and 8 blue centipede fossils for completing the mission 4 times, was kinda hoping for a blue version of the centipede sword too but im guessing it will give the red one out on completion.

Also got a red detective cap from Shoei Kingdom from the poll thing.

Hey Sam. Can I ask what sword you used? I am so confused with all of the swords and other weapons that I have in JP. lol I have the red and purple ones that glow, but I'm not even sure if those are best for this. Which one is the centipede sword?

Thx for info. Hope things are good with you.

Purple one is stronger but saps your life so i prefer the to use the centipede sword (black and red sheathed sword with a red glow)

ok thx. I got the 8 fossil pieces but didn't get a blue box. I wonder if maybe that's a repeat reward that I already have?

If someone can post what the new Shoei vote is it would be appreciated.

The Shoei Quiz gives out male and female Shoei cycle suits. Not sure if this is a choice vote though this time. Glad I made the right decision from the last quiz.

There's an anniversary event in Chatting Farm going on now, plus objectives to the Home Square from that event. There's also a message reward from the girl in green outside the hub. I'm not sure what it does or says.

Speaking of anniversaries, Peakvox as well as GAW are having a 50% off sale on their in-game items until October 30th.

Here's a link to the Chatting Farm event:

        公式ブログ「PlayStation®Home『おしゃべりファーム』1周年記念「収穫祭イベント」開催!!」 | プレコミュ | プレイステーション® オフィシャルサイト

Seems like there's descriptions on doing the Ash Tree objectives from the picture inside, and it does explain it (in Japanese of course). Luckily from the pictures I've seen some of them are not from the quests you have done (and from Riroa's list of picture rewards from the quests), and it can be omitted from purchasing specific items from the store. If anyone would translate it, and about the note from the girl in the green dress, I would appreciate it.

Do you know which selection is for male or female? I know what the words for male and female look like in Japanese, but neither selection looks like those. Or maybe I'm just being a numbskull again and not understanding something here.

Nah, Hop, there is no 'male or female' there. The choices are colors; red and green.

As for Edo, is it safe to assume that the one man gives you the old centipede sword if you didn't get it before, but nothing if you already had it? I was expecting a new sword reward, but didn't get jack. Why did GZ even bother to make an updated centipede level, new box, lid, and fossils .. just to give out an old sword reward? I am hoping there the space is buggy and a new sword can't be rewarded, but with GZ you can never be sure.

Okay, with the help with Tsunade and UCrazy, I was told about the Garden event that the way it works is that some rewards must be earned either in the quests, buyable items in store, or from the events given. The one going on right now for the watercan and milk bottle hand items is only limited to this week, so you must hurry and get these items and go to the Home Square tree and get the yellow mushroom stool. It's quite easy - just get 1 of the eggplant plant, and 3 of the white peach plants.

Quests 46-50 is up and you must complete the ones from 46-49 to earn the rewards given from it for the next event line and Home Square tree objective. Posters are up on the board explaining what to do, but you don't need a translator. You can pretty much figure it out yourself, but you can always ask questions here. ;) Luckily, for those not far into 46-50 already (like me :p), you can actually skip to 46 if 46 is open to you. What you need to open it is a Sakura Cherry seed (it's under katakana) which is unlocked somewhere and inside the game's hub space (not the main one, either the hill or snow valleys). Do what it wants, and you'll open up 47 and the next seed, which you'll need to evolve to the next seed and get its plants from it. Same goes for 48 and 49, and you'll figure it out quite easy afterward. Once you get the rewards, it becomes cake. :9

I did go to Edo's Mononoke, hoping for a new sword or better weapon from the old man in Edo, but to no avail. I only ended up with a new box, lid, and 8 fossils of the blue centipede. :p

Oh, and did I forget about the sale going on in Chatting Farm? Tsunade mentioned it to me, and their clothing items and personal spaces are on sale. I don't know when it'll end.

Does anyone know about the "Secret to the Planta" letter in Garden during the event? It's not saying anything about completing all 50 quests, but there's a picture showing a letter next to the girl in a green dress, if you scroll down the event link I posted. I wanted to know because I'm curious if this is a limited reward or not from doing all of them until Oct. 23rd.

EDIT: Never mind. A friend from Japan told me that it's nothing but progress reports from the Oshaberi team coming in Sept. 25th, and it's not some kind of reward or anything, but you can view them from the girl in the green dress that's standing next to the Hill Valley/Snow Valley store in-game.

It's asking you to chose red or green cycle suits. Top is red, bottom is green.

By what Afromaniac told me, he talked to a few people and they all liked red, but he chose green instead. I chose the red one.

For those stuck on Quest 49 and not knowing what plants to make for the small cottage house reward, I listed the following plants and what direction to get them on. Just remember you need 7 or more fruits/flowers to qualify, and take a look at the posters for the Japanese Translation:

          Objective Plants/Star Rank-----------Objective Seeds/Class

黄緑色チェリー★7-----------サクラチェリーのたねC (C seed purchased from the in-game store, the same one you started in Quest 46. This one's the 2nd plant in the C class)

黄緑色のメロン★7-----------マリーゴールドメロンの種αB++ (You'll need to evolve the サクラチェリーのたね to マリーゴールドメロンの種α and then use that seed to work your way to the 2nd plant under B++)

緑色のオクラ★7--------------あざやかフレッシュのたねC (Remember the ultra-easy Orca Quest from Quest 21? You'll be needing it here again. It's the 2nd plant from that C seed that you purchase from the in-game store)

緑のカボチャ★7--------------ランプカボチャのたねB (If you played Quest 47, remember to save the green pumpkins up to 7 or more and save it here to skip this step. If you haven't, just remember the seed you had to evolve it for the pumpkins in Quest 47. This one's under the B Class, 2nd plant)

早熟バナナ★7-----------------クロッカスバナナのたねB+ (Purchase the 1200 FC B seed after Quest 48, then reach towards the 2nd plant under the B+ class)

Good to know Japan Home is being tight around security towards hackers. We don't want another 2011 May blackout incident within our PS3s anymore than the next guy.

Japan has always taken ISE a bit more seriously than other regions, seems this is more just a warning to report users, I assume Japan has the inspect feature too? likely they want people using that feature to report others wearing wrongly earned items.
