The other day Sony was at a GameStop event in the US and on a leaked video I can not help but spot a logo to the far right just starting to pop on to the screen on one the images that looks like Home's logo, I have capped the video on my ipad and its attached below.
Things that happen when your trying to get yourself to go sleep lol, be real good if true but on flip side why would Japan and Asia drop support, Sony should just come clean.
Yes they should. Doubt that will happen. I have already come up with 6 different scenarios about the dropping of support in JP & Asia. All just guesses.
Japan / asia isnt getting ps4 until late. they may be shifting to ps4 development now, and the bigger eu Na, will work on both, is a possibility. but in that scenario, nothing carries over, and ps4 has its own version of home you start from noob in is likely. Until they clarify reliably from someone much higher than a freezers are cool people if you get to know them mod promoted to community manager, its all pure speculation.
Weird thing about this is I'm sure the same image leaked before we even saw what the PS4 looked like, but back then was said to be photoshopped. I find it really hard to imagine someone would go to the trouble to have faked it again in this video.
Yep Rach, be good to find a 2nd video of it to confirm its not fakes, but with how cams moving its a lot of work to fake the vid.
This was on the Home NA forums too. It is being called a fake there too. Hopefully it is coming to PS4.
it is too obvious. theres no other logo that looks like homes. it was on the new interface. guess we wont know until in 3 months. not to far away.
Had a quick look just over there just, they are getting some facts wrong, first of all it's not Gamestop that's put the image up, it's Sony staff and Sony's Images and Videos being used and over seeing it. They also point out about the denied and hacker parts saying PS4 don't have them systems, its not systems that's trophies that have been won from Watch_Dogs.
Got this from a forum talking about the new interface and said he remade it with photoshop. NeoGAF - View Single Post - Images of new PS4 interface Not sure if there's an original or if he created from scratch, but does seem the UI is different from what Sony is showing.
Problem is, to Sony comes out and says, it's always going to be up in the air, I mean you would think it would be that Sony would not use a photoshop image in there official media at an expo but mistakes do happen. Problem is we are all just guessing. At the same time, that official Sony image at the bottom, does not match the one of the video of the interface from gamescom.
I will just throw something in this conversation aswell... When i remember right it was clearly to see an xmb when Yosh played on the PS4 (opening of gamescom press conference) like we have on the PS3. I think the image we see here is nothing else than what we have on the PS3 when we click on ''What's New'' ,we see ''News'' and ''Recently played''. So my wild guess is what we see is a list of recently played/opend Games/Apps ...so, Home?!
Based off that video I believe that image is real, and the home logo looks all squished but the problem I have with it is that it was in the first set of UI images we seen. That image is basically just a render of what the PS4 UI should look like with the finished product so nothing on there would ever be official. I hope we get an answer real soon.
You're right to that degree, x-champ-x. Remember the first images of the PS3? The boomerang controller? The system came out and I was like "what?". Who knows what the final product will be until it comes out. I'm going to check out the video, but no matter what happens, I have enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy, the Home experience.
Ok found a 2nd video with thanks to @darkan12-nl and i can say the image was 100% used in the Sony talk at the Gamestop Expo, now if some marketing company as made the slides used for Sony they could have used a fake image by mistake, but one would think Sony would spot that type of mistake.
I don't know if the image is photoshopped or if it's real and even if I did that would mean I had an inside source and would have to keep quiet on account of fear that SONY might call the Federal Internet Bureau (FIB) on me and I'd maybe be in deep trouble. Let's assume the image is real. Does that mean Home is going to be on the PS4. The answer is no because it may be a prototype and it's there in case Home does indeed get transferred to the PS4. On the other hand, if the image is fake or even if it's not there in reality, does that mean Home isn't going to be on the PS4? The answer (again) is no because we don't know what they're going to do. Heck, SONY might not know what they're not going to do re Home and the PS4. I doubt if FIB knows. Ask the Chinese, they might.
