I guess today's maintenance may sort out some of existing ps-home problems. Like the Activity Board can't connect to servers for months. now it's working. May be reward problem in Tanabata event also fix.....just a wild guess. BTW, I did a cache clear after the maintenance.
We did try this, and at one time we both had 13 green stars and 10 red stars, both of us wearing the celestial costumes with the star headpiece reward. Surprisingly, Mad was rewarded the chair again. We don't know why this was happening, since I had the same issue with someone wearing the swimsuit and celestial costume before Mad showed up. Luckily, I got all 4, but it sometimes reward you the same thing without going to the next.

For some reason there seems to be some problem with having another Asian holiday there. Japan don't do Chinese New Years either.
But, I will ask what's the point, GZ put the "Bon dance festival" in Eu region anyway? Of course, Jan 1st, it's public holiday in HK and many countries, and I know it's Japanese New Year. But it's nothing related to the japanese Bon dance festival. I guess it's all about the sales progress in Eu region is pretty good if compair with asia region. That's made sence.

Sony itself doesn't have the power to know what event will take place on Home. It's usually perhaps the main staff of Home that relays the events from time to time. They either have the events drawn or not on some that other countries, i.e. Japan's Granzella, would like to spread to or Home staff judges them to not to have them on at all or to be used later. Worldwide holidays that's deeply connected (Halloween, Christmas, New Years, etc.) are different and they'd be spread all over no matter what, except some holidays like our 4th of July.
Oh well, you know, Japanese culture have great Cultural influences in Hong Kong. Pop-Star, Animation, Comics, Movies and so on. Lot's people take a trip to Japan. Be Honest I don't see much problem to put Bon Dance Festival in asia region, it can prompting Japanese tradition culture. not just only for making money for GZ.
