Hi all, I would like your feedback on the sites image gallery, your likes and dislikes but most of all if you would like to see subject categories that you can upload photos/videos to along with the user made albums, or just the user made albums as is the case now? To me the image gallery right now is unsorted looking, so if your trying to find a set type of image it might be hard, plus it lacks video support.
Okies, is that because you would not want categories or that your just happy with how it is now? The idea with categories is that you have set subjects that users can all add photos to, say one for a big event in japan or fashion shots. But you also keep one say called User Albums, where users will have there own albums like now.
Here is a few screen shots. Note the systems not open to public users as its still being made and that's why I'm asking for feedback
Just want to ask you all something fast, what do you think about putting the old gallery into an archive mode so you can still see the images and no upload any new ones and then giving you access to the new system? In time the old system images will be moved into the new system so none will be lost, only thing missing from the new system right now is being able to let you make your own albums.
Update The old gallery as now been put into archive mode, meaning you can no longer upload to it. images from this will be moved at a later date to the new media system, when the images have been moved the old system will be fully removed. You can now start to upload images to the new media system via Media on the menu or via: Media | YourPSHome.net - Your PlayStation Home Community A few more things like user based albums will be added at a later date. The new system is much more tied into the core of the site making use of the sites search system and alerts/likes and so on.
