You need to beat more missions basicly. I forget when I unlocked the lance, but continue you clear more missions and it will appear sooner or later.
As for the shield with the sword sticking out, the answer is easy; beat all the missions. You can get it once you are 100% clear.

 

@ Recca--for that reward that you sent the pm about in GAW fishing for boys day you mentioned needing to catch anything that was 75+ in size besides a nushi. I caught something after about an hour of trying that was an XXL at 76.03 and didn't receive that reward. Is there something more to this or what?

 

I think you might try for an 80+ in size. I remember catching a 83 sized fish (male demon) next to another 76 sized fish (male kappa) back to back and when I talked to the ranking kappa, I got the monthly reward. Just keep trying for an 80+ fish. I usually get male demons for monthly rewards because their XXL size is usually bigger.

 

ah geez--ok thx. That might put it out of reach for me with just free bait and the stun rod. If I decide to try again, do you think it matters if I use the original GAW fishing space or the newer one?

 

You can try at any space, but to get the monthly reward, you need to talk to the ranking kappa.

Can anyone tell me where the samurai katana sword in the following pics came from? It has a red scabbard and white handle/hilt. I don't recognize it as either a reward or store item, but I've seen it around a lot recently in JP Home.

That's the sword from setsubun. They took it down from the store because it didn't have the right stats. They said it was temporary but seems they completely forgot to add it back.

After a few delays, GAW has finally announced that it's Dojo mini-game will be coming this week. Whatever that is No details on what it is.

 

They also mentioned about a exclusive reward to those that had purchased the sword's faulty stats before it was taken down, which is a sword rack with the red hilted swords. They have yet to release them, since they're probably on its way fixing the sword's stats already and sending a patch to those that purchased it.

@Faga: Speaking of exclusive rewards, wasn't there one for Toro Station after their finale - a PS Home reward for Japan users? I have not seen or heard anything about it, except when they had announced it during their closing message about them reaching the end.

 

Where was this announced? Either I forgot or missed it, I don't recognize there was such a thing.

 

It was mentioned in their End Weekly Toro Station guideline somewheres. Maybe they have forgot to post it. But, I do remember them giving notice about the sword rack item for those that purchased the faulty swords in Setsubun from GZ magazine and I saw the picture.

And, speaking of notices, Japan Home has finally announced its removal of Acorn Meadow Park and its rewards this coming Wednesday, May 29th. It seems it has been hacked into the Japan Home account and it will soon disappear for good.

 

Recca the Toro reward might have been the 2 themes and the add on's for the new toro app that we got Email for, I downloaded the code but could only use the themes for the PS3.

 

I may have gotten those themes already - the animated 3 themes: one with Toro, one with Kuro, and the last with both playing soccer. I bought them though a long time ago.

How is that fishing dojo mini-game? I've seen at riroa that there's a bunch of rewards, but I haven't even tried it yet, that super kappa picture with the 100 yen for 5? has put me off as it makes me think it's pay to play, any ideas?

 

You basically send out your fish pets on a journey to find 4 swords in each of the 4 areas. You can bring another pet to help out your other pet or use the superman kappa (up to 5 times) to fight enemies. Each completed journey gives you a reward up to 5 travels on each trip. The 5th trip will have the sword or emblem item, plus each trip levels up your leading pet.

 

Thanks for that I'll have a look and give it a try, can you loose your pets?

 

I heard you can if their energy is gone to zero, but I never had that problem.
