Yeah, I know about that part, but the game treat it as a Naginata category. Ah, probably I should have used "pole weapon" instead. Opps GZ needs to make another job category. "Naginata user" doesn't actually fit with those weapons.
I started a couple days ago (first time buying a weapon for Great Edo of Nippon). Glad I caught on so quickly, I've ranked up to 195 in NA at the moment (or the last time I checked a few mins ago ), with 12000 some points. What's the reward for 25k and after? Just wondering what else there is.
I'm at 85k. Not sure how much more I'll grind past 100k. I get the feeling 100 people won't even reach 100k by the time this event ends and top 100 is all I want.

I have a feeling there's going to be a large drop off after the bikini reward. Overall, there seems to be alot fewer players than I expected. I don't see alot of my friends playing it. right now the bottom of my friend's list is ranked a little over 500th at around 1200 pts. That's only 2 times, maybe 3. It's only been a few days, but I expected more players. But at least the ones who are playing will get some nice rewards.
Yay 100k. It's been a while since I grinded that hard. And what's crazy is I'm only 15th on the leaderboard. I was at it 5-6 hours per day too, earning 5000 every hour.
Congratulations. I'm only at 12K although I don't know if I'll make it to the 100k amount. We'll see how that goes. I'm definitely giving those who attempt to stay on top of the board credit although I know I can't give the game that type of time.
The event is unfair to those that don't buy the rod. You need to clear it hundreds of times and it takes a while using other weapons. With the best armor (aside from the helmet) and the black rod: you kill red onis in 5 hits, 9 for gold and 2 for blue (1 if you do a jumping attack)
Congratz Lunar! I was planning on playing about 20,000 points a day (to reach 100k in five days) but you're saying that would mean 5 hours of playing each time? UGH!!!!!! Is Granzella trying to generate lag into their server?!?!? From your descriptions, that sounds like the leaderboard is NA regional and does NOT have the inflated global scores as I had previously thought.
Is there any indication that purchasing the Flame Club or the Ice Club gives additional score bonus, or +damage bonus against specific types of Ogres? Because otherwise, there's hardly any reason to buy them, since their basic damage and even demon special attack bonus are less.
