I spent the New Years at the Home Square. It was very nice, fireworks, picture show, and techno is a good mix.

No, just enjoying the countdown with Home friends. But afterwards...oh yes, there's lots of rewards to get. For starters, Edo and Hideaway has some goodies to give to everyone for New Years. Follow the thread about Granzella New Years and you'll see what to do.
Lots? The only things I got was a gold bar, treasure map, and a 'new years lucky envelope'. What else is there? And what does the envelope do? lol. It says it holds a new years gift.
Oh, we do region hopping but Japan Home has New Years events in some spaces, which means more NYD related rewards.
I had labrat in Home Square while most of my attention was in Granzella's New year celebration. Labrat saw a countdown like in Granzella, then fireworks in the sky. And the camera spun around the temple in the center with some words on screen.
In fact, I try find one from youtube, can't find any. maybe the video title using japanese, so I can't find it.
Sorry Recca, I didn't have mine rolling. Normally I use the hdmi output. And as far as I know, all the video captures are done using the component out. And you can't switch while inside Home.
