It's the first sunrise of the new year! For anyone in the Great Edo of Nippon or the Southern Island Hideaway lounges. The sunrise will be starting as the clock strikes midnight and the new year begins. *The sunrise is only happening in these Granzella lounges. Please be careful, if you miss it, you'll have to wait until next year. We recommend viewing from the bridge at the Southern Island Hideaway or the avenue in Great Edo of Nippon. Bells will ring and the countdown will begin at 11:30 PM on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31st). SCEE is GMT + 1 , SCEA is GMT - 5 , SCEAsia is GMT + 8 , SCEJ is GMT + 9 Also, if you have the Dreamy Bed, there's a new item for the first dream of the new year! Reward is from Dreamy Bed. I don't know if sunrise event produces a reward, bit it seems so. I don't know if there are different rewards for each space. I tend to doubt it. As for the time, follow what is posted.
Reading the navigator description of the lounges in JP, it says there is a quest event starting from New Years in those 2 lounges. Haven't checked the other regions but I assume it is implemented there also. Hope it's free though...kind of tired with the "you need to own this item" strategy with every GZ event.
Question on the dreamy bed, I own it, but all I keep getting are dream clouds that pop. Is there a certain way to do it???
The rewards are 1 daily and gives out from 1 of the beds. I'm not sure on if it's random or a set routine, but I think I read somewhere that it was M,W,F on steel bed Tu, Th, Sat on wooden bed Sun on blue bed I have not confirmed this, and may have remember it wrong, so take it with a grain of salt. 15 rewards total (16 if you count male/female seperately) Owners can obtain 14 rewards by yourself, guest can get 5 by sleeping together with the owner, and 1 is only obtainable as a guest.

I'm very sure the beds aren't set to specific days, Each reward I got daily I received the day after a friend did, and I started the day after them. Thanks for the info on the guest only reward though, gotta grab that one still.

For example, it's 6:00am right now which is simply designated at 5 hours Before the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-0) or Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-0) - this means that in an area of GMT/UTC-0 (the UK for example) it is 11:00am. If the NYE event is relative to the time our region is set to, that would make me think the party is starting 'normal time' at 11:30pm Est.. BUT I want to think that it's actually: NYE starts at GMT-0 in which case we would subtract 5 hours from 11:30pm (GMT-0) giving us 6:30pm EST (GMT-5) for the party (respectively 5:30pm Central, 4:30pm Mountain, & 3:30pm Pacific since all of NA is set to GMT-5 as stated above). This would also mean the UK has already celebrated NY's in real time since they'd be celebrating on Home an hour later (GMT+1). Right? lol ** Just thought of this in regards to the above.. will the event be simultaneous across the regions, or will they happen at separate times... **
Thanks for tell us the location for watching the sun-rise. Also, stand by at 11:30pm is an good idea, in case of server loading progress take a bit longer. sounds like I have goto 1) Japan PS-Home deal the event 2) Asia PS-Home deal the event 3) NA PS-Home deal the event It will be the busy day !
I hope we get the special new year rewards when the beds comes to NA. Also we each event have the same reward or different?
Sadly, the GZ beds are not in NA. Joanna says it might come by the 9th. I wouldn't mind an explanation what bed you need to sleep in to get the reward though, and also a request invite to EU for my other avatars. However, I know that midnight times are these as of EST for the following regions: HK - 9am EST JP - 10am EST EU - 7pm EST
