I thought I might create a "Things I want in Home" thread here. But this is not meant just for me. And I invite anyone to add to it! What would you like in Home? Did you see something cool today that would look great in Home? I would like to start this out with a costume from a new movie that's been posted online. This is the costume from the NEW Robocop movie!! I would like to have this in Home!! btw, since there already is a female fashion thread here, let's not compete with it. Please post female clothing over there. Unless you want to post something like an "Avengers" set, and are too lazy to divide the post into male here and female there.
Actually, that's the 1st time I seen the new robocop outfit. I like it. I'd love to see Dr Who in home, there's tonnes of possibilities for outfits and items. A Tardis personal space would be nice too.
LOL, I think you could make your own Cutie Island. Or at least a Cutie Island video. I'm sure you could drag me and Hops, SC and alot of others to it. That might be fun to do for a day.
Oh I love WHO! I'm enjoying the new season. Especially with Souffle Girl! I can't wait till she's back! I would love to have a Tardis too! If they are really inventive, they can put the blue box out on the street in front of the Pond's home. And when you enter it's bigger on the inside than on the outside! Since this is a virtual world, that's possible!! Though might be tricky in Home!!

I'd like to see any personal space with not only time of day settings, but settings for various weather conditions and change of seasons. Is that asking too much? I'd also like to see an advanced shooting gallery themed space with lots of targets to shoot and blow up. lol oh.....and 5 on 5 tackle football please. Nice thread FF. Always interesting to see what different people come up with.
Thanks Hops!! I agree. I like the shiny better. Seems even Superman is sporting a new darker look. Everything has been affected by Batman's success. But I prefer Batman to be Batman. And other things to not be Batman. Oh, btw. I want a fez. And Weeping Angel statues!!
fez's are cool As for weeping angels, outfits with special emotes and statues would good but just imagine it as an active item that roams around invisible until you happen to be near it.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of his new look, and that's putting it nicely. I mean what if the next Spider-Man movice had him in a lime green outfit? And it not just the color change, they also changed the suit it's self. This kinda reminds me of the new Total Recall movie, and all the other resent remakes. The producers swear up and down they are doing something new and fresh.. but at the same time, they know the main reason people will pay to see these movies is only to compair them to the older films. In other words, if this wasn't a Robocop remake, but rather a totally original movie, would you really want to see it as much? If at all? Honesty, I don't even see how how this remake could outdo the original Robocop... Okay, sorry for the rant, but it needed to be said. On topic, here are a few things I'd like to see in Home; 1) When you buy clothes you get the clothing for your avatar as normal, but how about also getting a clothing apartment item as well? You could make your bedrooms a little more er homey with having a few clothes laying about. 2) Since I am assuming that non-animated apartment items are easier to create then say active items or clothing, Home based companies should work a little hard to release new rewards each week. I mean I'd still play Soduim 1 now, if there was a reason too. But Vicky has even less rewards in JP then NA, and I've already earned all the rewards I want. In other words, give people a reason to return to the pubic spaces you already created (and are paying Sony a fee to maintain online). 3) You may think this is funny, or nod in agreement, but a normal PS3 game having Home rewards -can- be a deciding factor in buying a game or not. I wish more video game companies would take an interest in this idea... What if the next Dystany Warriors game had Home rewards you could unlock while playing the game for hours... something you'd be doing anyways.. lol I might not be a computer wiz, but it shouldn't be too hard to take a 3d model you already created for the PS3 game and port it into Home. I'm telling you, play any of your favorite games, and I am sure they are loaded with great Home reward ideas. 4) How about a 'point card' system to earn new Home rewards, kinda like the one nDreams had at Aroura. But rather then being 'forced' to buy set products, you earned points for being anything nDreams sold. It would reward loyal customers, while not railroading them to buy goods their aren't interested in. 5) So I guess Maxis didn't get the memo. If the makers of The Sims 3 were to create and sell content on Home, it could hopefully raise the bar all around. Google a video of the Sims 3 or play the game again if you got it. Maxis already has great experience creating 'apartment items', 'avatar clothes', 'custom avatar animations', and 'active objects'. And lets not forget about the personal spaces they could make. Competition is a good thing.
I just wanted a thought I had. I don't know much about Maxis or the Sims. But if a company made money selling virtual items in their virtual world, they might not be interested in making another virtual world better by creating content for it.
I want pants that match the free male steam punk jacket that was available a while ago,not sure if it still is or not.The jacket has a wide waist and unique colors.Nothing Ive seen matches properly.I have an outfit made ...just need pants!
I want the ability to actually wear a top hat with my eyeball… …or be able to have wings (or anything else that would be applied to our backs) AND also use hand objects in our actual hands.
I wish they would rerelease the Star Trek uniforms in NA. And they never did release the Red trek shirt. Nor the black one. Or the Female blue. I also would like a rerelease or upgrade to my Alien costume. Alien as in the Sigourney Weaver's Ripley. I would LOVE to wag my alien tail. Or stick out my "tongue". yeah, that will never happen, but I can dream. Also would like to see the Iron Man costume released in NA. That really was spectacular.
I'm serious about this, and would like either Digital leisure or Exclusives to make it. I want a gold bird on a perch that poops diamonds. No joke, I think it would be a hilarious item to have. as a reward from the casino or for the Exclusives store. ;D
OH I have afew things :O like maybe.... Maybe just maybe if we could get Assassin's creed 3 and Brotherhood and Revelation costumes multi-play or Ezios outfit I know it's up to Ubisoft but....I REALLY want them for my avi and I know alot of people would too. Maybe Soul Calibur too ;D Also maybe some anime costumes like Naruto or Bleach, Dragonball Z :drool: lol
