Hi all, I just want to let you know i have put in place a auto user group promotion system, so first of all i would like to ask if people find they no longer have access to some things to please report saying so within this thread. Next up this as been done to make a Trusted Members user group, users will be added to this group when they have been a member for 31 days and have made 50 posts. This is basically so i can set up the sites auto post to Facebook & Twitter system so that it only works for trusted members, admin and dev's. This should stop spam posts from spam bots being sent to our Twitter & Facebook. It will also let me give the trusted community a bit of added freedom and a few more rights to do things when and where i see fit
Should be one or the other, but i'll keep eye on it. Main thing it's for is to stop the spam bots when they get passed the spam checker and post threads, to stop them threads being tweeted or posted to facebook. As that looks bad on our feeds.
Yep, but down side is spam on twitter feed is bad and might put people off following when their timeline gets spammed.
