Correct. But, I have gotten the gold kappa shirts already without having the kappa coin icon on my head. I'm not sure if the icon is available or not, but you have to keep up being in 1st place.

The gold kappa shirt and the nushi stool are monthly gifts when you catch a ~75+ cm and talk to the ranking kappa. For the round kappa symbol, you probably need to have your name in the top 15 ranking at the end of the month. Most probably for having your name in at least 1 category earns a bronze, 2 for silver, and 3 for gold. I was lucky when they introduced the ranking board for the first time way back in Feb. The starting date was actually the last day of the month and I was able to have my name in 4 categories. FYI, there is no reward for achieving the gold kappa symbol. Whether there is a reward for achieving all gold for the 5 symbols is unknown. No one has achieved the gold crown symbol yet.
I got the silver crown today! ^^ the log shows 5 of each Nushi. I caught a 86cm green kappa but no stool. Brock got one with the same. Is there a reason for that, did I talk to the green kappa too much or something. 0.o
Is the 86cm the regular kappa? If it's the Nushi, it doesn't get counted to any of the monthly rewards and rankings. And if you used the latest pole to catch it, then it has a bug that doesn't record it to the rankings.
I caught a demon that was 77cm in one catch, using the fire rod and wearing my demon yellow pants to light up one of the lights a few days ago. I threw it away, and then went to the big kappa and got my chair. The chair itself is dark green than the one from the rewards list, that has a light green color. How do we get a gold crown anyways, and a gold gift box? Glad to see the return of the draped gigolo suits from Irem. ^^
DAMN! Thanks Faga, I'm sure that is what it is. I'm going to do some fishing without the new pole then later on. I started a fishing FAQ to keep my poles and bait straight so I'm not waisting any bait uselessly, I'm sure the names on some are incorrect but I'll post it here if anyone else wants it. :O

Rewards from neon, nice to see an update finally. The rain is nice, I like how you can see the water on the umbrella. There are also new items at the customer service center available. I got 3 and I know one was female hair. ^^
I was looking at the item list in the Japan Home website this morning. Didn't see those, but glad you mentioned it.
That list is pretty big now! Do you think they will ever get rid of that area at some point? They should have no need for it at some point if they start removing the items that needed fixing.
