I have a few very simple ideas that I think people will buy. One is a picture frame. But here's the twist: It's not a wall item. I want it as an ORNAMENT. I want to be able to put it anywhere in an apartment where there isn't a fixed picture frame point. I also want it to appear as if it float above the ground. (with an invisible base) So if I put it next to a wall, it looks like it's hanging on the wall. Appearance should look a bit like this: Basically two clear planes of acrylic wedging the photo between them. With aluminum style attachments in the corner holding it together. I would like them in several sizes. One medium size. And With one HUGE. Maybe 100 inches diagonal. Maybe even one the size of a wall! And I want two types. One standard. And one self illuminated so the picture inside is always bright as a tv's picture even in the darkest of apartments. I would like maybe a $10 bundle that comes with a bunch of different sizes. Can you make that?
Ok so here is an sketch of something Steampunkish I threw together. For a mini game to follow along, what about Aurora being overrun by some of the creatures that inhabit the Aurora space? In the Teller of Tales, we get a glimpse of this four legged creature mysteriously flying by. What if they were to overrun the island, and as citizens of Aurora it is our job to exterminate them. Hence the flame-thrower type thing the guy is carrying. This would also allow you to develop more on what it means to be a citizen of Aurora, including the style of dress and Auroran would wear, as well as building more on the creatures in Skyfishing and The Teller of Tales, building a more tangible sense to the Aurora world. Just a thought.
Wow Iggy, that is impressive! I'll be sure to show that around the office! Thanks for all the feedback so far, please keep it coming! Joey
Thanks for keeping up the contact. It's really a privelige to communicate with a dev about what we would like to see in Home. I noticed that you had a nice Bench in the Aurora Apartment I bought. It's a part of the apartment near the Defender game. I think the wood textures are just the right color. I like it alot. And the black parts may look a little crude, but with a little finessing, It would make a great furniture item. I would like to buy it and put it in other apartments. Also you have that Aurora apartment with SOOOO much airspace. Why not make a hot air balloon ride for the apartment. You can make an active item that will work with the apartment somehow. You can put the needed program code lines in the added memory from the furniture active item slots or add a little bit more to the apartment itself if you need it. But either way you buy a something, and you get a hot air balloon ride in your aurora apt! Oh! And make some unique customed balloons for parties! Since you make such beautiful balloons in Aurora, you can make smaller balloon ornaments to sell. And I like the idea of ONLY selling it in the Aurora Apartments. This way visitors have something special they can do in those apartments. And it gives us a reason to interact and meet new people and new guest to our apartments.

1 Million Visitors? Wow! This is a great memory for everyone to remember! I can now think back to visiting Aurora when it first arrived!
Congrats on reaching a million visitors to Aurora. It's nice to see so many people enjoying Home and Aurora.
Any chance you can update sky fishing to give the fez as a reward, as fezzes are cool ;D Also have you guy's considered re-running the Aurora Wars event? since Aurora is available in all 4 regions it could be more of a global event this time.
You lot and your Fez's!! I will mention them in the meeting I have today and see how it goes down!! With regards to Aurora Wars, it hasn't been mentioned. Again I think it's a great idea now Aurora is available in all regions. Will keep you in the loop
for added effect wear one in your meeting if they laugh its a winner, if they dont, better go sick with a pencil up each nostril and wearing your underwear on your head lol
BTW, please, if you ever do a hat item, please create it as a headphone item. That way we can keep our hair.
