i hate to say this but i think you might end up serving the whole time of the ban before you even find out why or for how lol. that will be messed up if that happens and is wrong that you have to go through all this. but like Aet said atleast these forums work and we still get to talk to you .
Interestingly enough Mercury Valentine edited this portion out of my post and later locked the thread. Seems she could have responded to my statement and made things right but instead she elected to say nothing and actually delete the statement altogether.
Hi all and thanks for that Joanna its nice when people go the mile to help someone they barely know Here was the response from Sony Support btw... Hello Tabitha, Your concerns have been heard regarding your banning from the forums. We value your input and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Please rest assured that we will convey your feedback to Sony Computer Entertainment America's ("SCEA") appropriate management. However, that being said there will be no further responses regarding this issue to you directly.
So you are banned and don't know for how long. How are you supposed to know for how long if they don't communicate with you? I suppose they expect SCEA Management to let you know.
... its confusing.. because I know I got kicked AFTER i sent mohawk a PM to his accusing me of saying hes not being impartial or fair.. and thats when I sent a PM back accusing him of double standards on whats 'fair' in his book vs the rest of the world
I meant to ask you about this. I noticed the edit but couldnt remember the exact content that had been removed. I was worried that you might have received a warning, but I was distracted by other issues and never followed up with you. Actions like that trouble me, because they seem to indicate, well, verify, the numerous complaints that I am hearing every day about censorship and intimidation.
Are you serious? That's the response they sent you? Kitty, you need to call them and ask for a supervisor. Stay calm, stay polite, but you need to escalate this, and keep escalating until someone tells you why you were banned and for how long.
Still think.. I was 'paranoid' at the fact Mohawk was focusing on me... -.-; Just incase anyone questions how authentic my post was with my email.. here is the top half of it.. Huh? When did I ever say he wasn't focusing on you? In fact, I distinctly remember saying that Joanna and I were also at the top of his watch list.
I'll watch my language because anyone can read this but I'd be steaming mad if they did that to me and didn't tell me why or for how long. Very frustrating knowing that they would even do that to a user period.
No not you sorry but some people in HOME who haunt the forums had commented a few days ago how "I thought mohawktown had it in for me"...
Joanna thats the thing though... OTHER posters have been calling the forum mods nazi's and even putting pics of the swatzika in their posts.. but they are still active and posting! And their posts arent being edited with those words.. Yet *points at self* ...
Kitty, that email is truncated. Either it's a software error, or someone did a poor copy & paste, but the most important part is missing and this Anthony R just blew you off. You need to write back asking why and for how long to document the fact that you didn't get a proper response. And you also need to call them.
Well you see the problem with your posts hun were that they were intelligently put together and simply MADE TOO MUCH SENSE. They didn't want people reading that. Others who do things really aren't articulate and as a result they aren't afraid of them. I think that is a pretty spot on assessment. I still find it very unprofessional of them to ban you and not tell you why or for how long. This is a major corporation we are talking about and not some back street fam!
Ohh btw joanna funny enough look at this thread.. Made by Mr Jr himself Mohawktown on the 6th.. alittle after he banned me... http://community.us.playstation.com/message/30813129#30813129 Nice highlight...for the spelling challenged people of HOME and the SONY universe.. 1. Community Rules of Conduct We want you to start posting your brains out, but first, a lesson in this forum’s netiquette: the Do’s and Don’ts below pretty much boil down to “Be nice.” So, please be nice to each other! If you violate the Don'ts, your post may be removed and you may be banned. Aet remember his first post on new forum feedback and his first few posts later.. this is what I sent back to him in PM pointing out how he's violated the TOS enough times he should have been banned himself for his comments on 'go eat pizza' to 'well i know this is going to get some negative comments' but he would still post!! Anyway one of the codes of forum conduct NOW in place.. "" - Start posting. Ask questions, let people know what you’re thinking about, be funny, be serious, give fair warning before talking about spoilers. You don’t have to write a novel, just break your thoughts down into easily understood bullets or paragraphs, don’t go crazy with the color coding, try to avoid one-word responses, and don’t yell at us by using all-caps. - Spell check. We don’t expect you to be perfect, but make sure people can understand you: run a spell check and make sure your grammar makes sense before you post. "" I'd read the rest BTW... technically 90% of HOME posters would end up banned by these rules.. No multiple colors in posts, etc.. And another fun one: "- Politely dispute a ban. Emphasis on “politely.” If you think the mods have banned you unfairly, please email us. Include your username and the email address you used to sign up. Verbally abusing the staff won’t get you anywhere and might increase the length of your ban. We’re a lot more likely to listen if you’re polite and courteous, and we won’t discuss bans or warnings with forum members or the general public. " I wonder where that came from
Start Posting? Well many couldn't post for days! Hee Hee. Can't be banned if you can't post! Ha! Spell Check? I do spell check after I post but if someone responds to my post I can't EDIT IT so how do I fix the spelling error? Politely Dispute a Ban? Well that sadly isn't funny because they aren't being upfront or fair or even decent when it comes to letting someone know the specifics about it. It's really unprofessional and they should be called out on it. The obvious thing is that they'll just edit out those remarks like they did today to me instead of actually trying to make things right. That personally is very disappointing.
Well, Kitty, this part right here is actually excellent advice. If you're already banned, you're not gonna get anywhere unless you stay calm and stay polite. They're going to expect you to be loud and irrational, and if you play into that and confirm their expectations they'll just tune you out. But if you're calm and polite they'll start to wonder, "Hey, what happened here?" and they'll be much more likely to take you seriously and help you out.
Look at the rest of mohawks rules of conduct Recently updated by rockbilly.. fine print at the bottom hun...is the cute bit
