Well, I first did my first romp around the slummed apartment area that I bought for myself. I found out you can relieve yourself at the bathrooms and wash your face once a day, that opens up a wheel and you win money. The sink one I believe raises or lowers your mood. I also think that buying the bathroom fixtures will help with raising the okane level inside - not sure of this myself because I'm nearly out of yen. As for the doors and windows, it looks as though I can "steal" something from the other apartment when the lights are off - this is unclear as of yet, but it's worth a shot, perhaps a reward for doing so. Midway through the apartment in one of the empty rooms, you can open a window to look down at an alleyway. I saw the middle-aged guy in glasses that was hanging around the diner in Downtown kiss a hot girl with a gold dress from the rewards kiosk under a lamp post, and then walk away with each other. I had opened options, but not sure what to do due to the language barrier (this needs to be translated), so I picked the first option and had myself shut the window. I couldn't open it up again after that, since it might have been a one-day thing, but I bet it gives out rewards from your actions. This also needs clarification. Another clarification is the girl from across the building from you. She's located at the far left opened room, and there's a window you can open. Depending on your actions, she'll either greet you or smack you, which Stevev363 showed me last night, he got a nosebleed tissue on his nose as a reward. Since I'm not a good translator, I picked the first option again, but she only greeted me and closed the window. I opened the window several times to talk to her again, but the lights have gone out. I believe this is also a one-day thing, and it needs clarification on the options you chose and the rewards it may bring. Overall, it's a small space, but it's kinda awesome and authentic. As for benefits for Downtown, it may give out exclusive rewards, like "blackmailing" the middle-aged guy in the public space what you saw and he'll give you a reward to shut you up, something like that, or just give out extra bit of money or happy points later.
The first dancing promotion happens very quick, I was not there for 10 minutes and when I got off of the stage I got the notice and the certificate. It's obviously based on the time you spent dancing on stage and might be worth parking there. Also I received a nose bleed from the girl in the window, I literally received a wearable item that is a bloody tissue stuck in your nose! :roflmao2:there sure are some interesting things coming from this apartment, maybe a black eye next?
Okay, so I bought the toilets, and I have them installed, but I can't use them by any means. Hopefully by tomorrow it should work and I can play the mini-games again. I also have bought the magazines and the 5 piece set, but I have no idea what to install. I have installed a new lamp in the room where I met the girl in the next building. I also got my nosebleed tissue from choosing the last option. But, for the others? I'm stumped and I have no idea. The only thing I didn't buy was the kotatsu set, because I had ran out of yen. I need help.
Talking to another apartment owner last night I was told that the wall switch in the room next door opened the locked door and they were able to go in but they just saw an animation of darkness and were fumbling around in there then was back in the hall afterward. also there is a closed closet in one of the rooms, have no clue how to open that. I was also told that the first option on the window game is just to close the window so choosing another option should have some effect to the game. I got all of the furniture items but am clueless as to what I should do with them also, seems they do have an effect on what the space does or will allow you to do but no confirmation as to what yet from anyone. most of the furniture takes up too much room to get at the games and functions so I have mostly just the lights out right now and the magazines.
I decided to risk trying for the dancing deplomas, as i got called away right after i started home :unamused: manage to get the deploma 2 and 5 without any problems.
Not me. I'm playing the damn pachinko games and I've earned level 6 on both. IMHO, those games are really time-consuming once you hit the jackpot.
I checked the apartment this morning, and it turns out after exhausting the knocking the door and looking through the window options from the locked door, it unlocked another option which I have no idea what I did. I'm beginning to suspect that if I fool around and keep exhausting the new options, I might be able to get something from it. Maybe fix the broken closet with gum tape. I also unlocked a few rewards, but finally finished my bunny outfits today. All that's left in the kiosk is the cardboard shirts, the leopard dress and one-piece swimsuit, and the rings. I wonder what my alleyway window and the girl from the next building will do tonight, and how should I respond...
I really enjoy the personal space as well. I like the events, but am even more impressed that none of them has been repeated. So it's like an on going story. The neighbor lady just told me her name finally, and I'm sure the next event with her she will ask me if I remember what it is. In a way it's kinda like a mini visual novel. Unexpected and cool. Although my wife was kinda bummed that her female avatar got a nosebleed from the neighbor lady. lol "Why couldn't they have the neighbor a guy if you are a female?", she asked. hahaha Oh well, I'm not complaining at least.
Personal space wise apart from you cant put the furniture out they sell for the place as it gets in the way and blocks access to the rooms, so really only need to buy toilets, its going to be interesting how stories unfold
Luckily, the events from the other window that you witness gets repeated. So far, I had a couple kissing and walking together, the same couple arguing, one guy vomiting and walking away drunk, and one guy holding up a police officer and chasing him. I have no clue what options do what at all during these times. As far as the girl in the other building, I only used the first options.
What about the light? When you buy the light you get the option to change the fixture in the room next to the locked room by using the light switch on the wall, It's just like having the trays for the museum space which appear in the cases. I did try to have the furniture items out also but it stinks to target the windows or other features when you don't read Japanese. Visiting my apartment this morning I found some new options with the girl in the window which I received a small blue ghost item, looks like a ghost made out of a kleenex on a stand. The locked room had an option to press a doorbell added, nothing new that I see for the alley but that might be because I need to choose an option to make another appear.
