Well, it was just speculation when I said that, but hopefully it'll be done very quickly once they find the roots of the problems.

Finally, someone had put down a chart for the diplomas (those are what they're called) for serving in Downtown's eateries, and how many serves it takes to reach the next diploma. Scroll down and click on Rewards 033, and click on any of the links that go with any of the 10 diplomas for the chart, then the "eateries" link. The chart will come up.

Wow! those levels are not as high up there as I thought as far as the amount of serves you need. I can't wait to get back in there now! :smile1:

Those info were speculated numbers (no one actually knows the exact values). And it's number of rounds, not serves. So the higher you go, the harder it gets since you increase number of serving per rounds.

There were request to display the experience points. Hope Granzella took that advise and include it with the update.

(Edit) Scratch what I said above. The wiki only list the number of serves you can do per round for your level. Doesn't list the amount needed to get to the next level.

The amount is easy. Mizu told me - Number of rounds x Your current diploma level = Total serves for your next diploma

So, since I'm at level 6, and there's 60 rounds, then I need 360 serves from one place.

Okay, I'm a bit confused then about how many serves to the next diploma. There's gotta be some explanation. :p

I was really impressed by the new outlook of the intro and the darkest of places, like the bar and under the bridge, are now more colorful than ever. The only thing they took out was the sweepstakes kiosk for the tissue rewards, but glad to have it gone since it only warps you to other Granzella areas in Japan Home when you get it.

The crane games are so much fun now, and I absolutely love crane games like these in RL - the UFO catcher is one of my favorites.

Yoshikowa had problems with the crane game, she used something like 25 tickets to get all 4 toys. You actually get a red dotted line that allows you to line up the catch so it almost seemed like they were making it easier to get the goodies. I only needed 2 tickets to get them.

Finally making some progress on my serving level thanks to the new training game.
Hopefully i'll be able to get it high enough soon, so i can attempt the main games without everyone avoiding me. XD

Sam your always welcome to come play with me, my friends and I are completely addicted to the game and we spend entire days there and sometimes get lucky enough to get a private server. we hardly ever get a constant fourth to keep the chain rolling so come and play, we have our lousy moments all the time but we still play through them. :thumbup1:

I recently got a red promotion level 2 after drinking from the drink machine today, first time ever with the new version. At first, I thought it was a GZ can ornament item, but it wasn't! Does anyone know what it is?

And, I heard you can level up faster. How? :p

By the way, you can get the lantern monster plush in the crane games now. It replaced the lobsters.

Since they lowered the amount of serving per round, it's faster.
Ex. Lvl 3 to 4 needed about 10 rounds.
Before the update, each round was 40 servings for a total of 400 to level up, now it's 34 which is 340. (this is for # of servings for lvl3)

Also they added a training for those that aren't high. It doesn't let you earn money that much, but still can level up without waiting for people or getting avoided because of their low level.

I've noticed some statistics flash onto the screen in a text bar after serving each round. I'm assuming that it has something to do with the number of items served. Can anyone verify what they indicate?

I was served by someone surrounded by a bluish haze and seemed to get bonus HP with every purchase. The HP at level 12 was more than tripled from its base value every time.

One more tip regarding serving. Once in a while, you'll notice gold text among your choices to serve the customer. The text does not match the item that they ordered but it's the one to pick. The customer will receive bonus HP. I gained 1500 HP for one item at the deli-style food counter.

Er, actually... you're right about everything other then that last part. The gold text item is the item the customer ordered. So not only is it a no brainer to pick the right item when it appears but you also get a huge boost in happy points. (In other words, you could have gotten that order wrong that turn if not for the gold text.):tomato:

The blue haze that servers get is from the energy drink from the vending machine. It's also a way to tell customers who want happy points that the server is powered up and will give away bonuses at their top levels due to their own rank, rather than the servers yelling at them to come and get their level 12 happy point boost.

You'll also get a cool fire blaze on your mood meter, which is very awesome.

As for the blue text, that needs some explanation still. I'm at a lost when I'm done drinking or eating food that it comes up every time.

Thanks for the explanation, Faga. I'm glad they reduced the rounds of serving. Now it's just a matter of time getting the other promotions from the main places.

EDIT: Okay, I've made my rounds and found the following promotion rewards on each of these places so far:

    - Bar, Oden, Salon, and Diner (the main ones)
    - The new tutorial with the statue under the bridge near Oden (plays the same ones with the main mini-game eateries)
    - BOTH pinball machines (yes, the planes and soldier girls ones have different promotions - I have received two different ones. The plane one has BIG written as English under the description. This needs insight how to get other promotions.)
    - The drink machine (yes, I picked one up and got a promotion easily, I don't know how honestly but again, needs insight on how to get more - number of drinks? Total overall serves before drinking?)
    - The crane machine (I think it's the number of catches involved that gives you promotions, though it is fun and challenging and it gives big HP bonuses)

I'm haven't tried if the arcade games and the camera mini-game has promotions too. If anyone's willing to check them, please do so and post it.
