Took me a couple of minutes of button mashing, but the skeleton eventually spoke to me and gave me the reward on my eu ps3. XD
Thank you maxbrat Yes I know this guy, he's an old friend of mine. He changed a little bit though... I was beating this poor other skeleton sitting on a bench in the same area! I wish he will forgive me one day xD
Is anyone still wanting the scarf and mitts from valentines event? If anyone wants to trade let me know Only today left its such a nice item too
Yeah seen those, but what are they? xD They look like miniature city parts. And where do I get the sword for beating te ant 8 times?
Here's a pic of most of the rewards. Only shows 2 out of 6 hanging scrolls. (Edit) opps, forgot to add 1 reward. There's 1 light object not showing in the pic. Talk to the old man if you want the sword.
They are miniature models of the buildings in the Edo lounge, they are quite awesome and have very good detail.
Go to the old man behind the signs where you start the game on the LEFT. He will give you something initially to collect 8 fossils that you will get for every game that you complete....then return to him after you have 8 and he will give you the sword.
The miniature Edo models are very nice. Looks like little dollhouses you can play with, including the dolls you won over at the shooting gallery. The 3900 point sword from the old woman is the best one in Edo. You don't need to worry about armor because you'll be immune to hits, and the sword strength is excellent - takes 4-5 hits on the skull scorpions, but your health drops slowly, so you'll need to keep an eye out for it.
Go to Peakvox and get the earrings from entering. Play the Mononoke game, and talk to the skeleton guy in the toilet stalls. You'll need to spam x and O for him to talk to you, unless you have a japanese PS3 system. You'll get other half of the earrings. Wear them and get yourself wed at the wedding chapel at Granzella Beach. You'll receive a heart ring.
Oh so just wear the earring now to get the heart ring... Oh good. Thanks for the info... on my way now... YAY!
If I wear the broke armor I get 4 hits on the scorpion skulls and more armor points but I played wearing the new outfit and it was 5 hits per skull and lower armor.
Yes, the war-torn broken samurai outfit is the best stats. Your sword will be at 88, but with the power-up it'll reach to 96. The armor will be at around 110, and with power-up probably at 115.
If you didn't know already, you can check description and stats of clothes/gear while in your wardrobe by pressing L3. Like Recca said, the damaged gear has less defence then the undamaged gear, but it gives you an attack bonus (which stacks with other damaged gear). If you're good at the game, or otherwise don't get hit much.. you really don't need a high defence rating anyways. So buying the damaged gear solely for the attack bonus is what a lot of people do. I just got the sword from the old woman. It's super powerful. I rushed in when the level started and killed the monster before it had a chance to even move away once! lol If you're new to the game I would only buy the healing item and the broken armor. Don't even bother buying a sword now, the one from the old woman is not only better but 'free'.
Even without the samurai armor or any armor, the damage you take doesn't hurt you at all, since the sword itself is making you immune to heavy damage. I played this with plain clothes, and there wasn't any difference. I took damage but it didn't drop too quickly.
New armor? who needs it at this point? I'm working on getting the last item from the rewards and have no problems as is.
