Copied over from the official forum, I found this amusing little easter egg after activating my Toby this morning: If you want to test it out, I can confirm that my cell phone picture is good enough quality to work with your phones reader lol
It just leads you to lootgear's twitter page. Nothing all that special, I'm afraid, but still an interesting feature I'd like to se used in Home in the future.
i wonder.... maybe loot might have a event or somthing on there twitter page?? they might not but then what would be the point in adding that to the cat?
it will be interesting to see it they will do somthing with that. and if they do it would be a good reason to get one of the cats atleast so you would be about to get the message from it lol
I have to say at first I was amused at the idead of adding a QR code to the kitty. After a bit, however, I now find it annoying. I paid LOOT for that kitty. Now I feel like I paid to get their advertising. I have Chairman Meow. Does the other kitty do this as well?
lol well just about everything in home is advertising. just think when ever you have something on that some like and they ask where you got it right?? on top of that the star wars outfit, tester shirts, darksiders outfits etc... are all to advertise something. the icon for that cat is just a different way to go about it. also i can't be sure but i can bet that both cats have that icon lol
I mentioned in my first post that the picture I took came from my Toby, so yep, it occurs on both of them.
I miss Home's 0.98 Z's above head, it really made it clear you where asleep so you did not have people trying to talk to you and then thinking you are rube for not replying like you have now. Plus it looked cooler
