The trophies for this game look really good. I got distracted yesterday and didn't get a chance to play. I have the perfect spot for these trophies in the new Red Bull apt.
on the wood shelves I got red bull sculpture there as well decorated with dolly diners stuff and radiator chairs from my deco
ok, well that might be the reason why I'm having such a problem with it. I figured you would have to use that plane with the maxed speed to beat those times, but it is hard to control. Thanks for info-I will have to try with the plane you mentioned next.
@Gary: I was thinking along the lines like a trophy from a real PS3 game that's hard to get, but yeah it's absurd these 3rd challenge time attacks are. Its the enjoyment factor of doing a challenge, I do it because its fun, not for kudos, rewards or trophys, ive rode from one end of game map to the other on RDR not for the trophy but can you imagine seven of us all on headsets, riding like the wind, all I could hear is ennio morricone music, lol
What Recca said, vid suggests it's limited time? mg_smilie: Which ones where... Carla's pics of rewards for Track 2 and Track 3 look cool! Always hard to tell though from a static photo. For those of you who've gotten the trophies, do any of them (like the translucent one for Track 5) have any special animation :dazzler: or reflectivity effects?
I completed the first 2 challenges on each course without too much difficulty. It took a few tries for each to get familiar with the courses themselves. I've only completed the 3rd challenge on Course 1. That took some time and the other courses look worse. I may try for the jacket reward on Course 2 because it looks cool enough that I might actually use it. Not sure if the other rewards are worth the trouble.
Didn't I already win one of those in the vending machine game? With a lot less time, effort and stress? I'm sure that it will adequately do the job of filling a slot in my storage section.
Thx again Recca--the plane you used is the way to go. I should have tried that before I frustrated myself so much trying to make it happen with the other one. Once I got used to the way it flies and with a few run-throughs on each track, I got the 3rd challenges done for 1-4. The only other one I want to get done is 5 which will take a little more time. Cool game, cool space, nice rewards....we need more of this kind of thing in Home. Kudos to Red Bull. @ Liza--I think the can from the vending machine game is diet Red Bull....and I'm assuming the reward for challenge 3 on track 6 is the regular one lol Needless to say, I won't be bothering with that one either.
So, how do you grab the female versions of each of the challenges? I know you have to switch your avatar to female, but do you just need to enter the space for it to work? I tried switching it in space, played and won a type of challenge, but it didn't reward me anything. Wished they did the same for the flugtag and vending machines too.
I believe the rewards unlock when you unlock the challenges. So once you unlock it there is no way of getting the other gender as of right now. Hope Red Bull or whoever the developer is realize this, and bring a fix.
Yeah, they really need to do that, and it's kinda unfair for a lot of people that are familiar that all clothing items comes with male and female when won. The only thing I was able to unlock was a female hand item of Red Bull from the vending machine. I'm kinda happy having just the male items though, but it's typically wrong.
I'm not so sure it's a bug, i think it's by design based on much feedback from people over the years saying their wardrobe and that is being filled up with unwanted items for a other sex they don't use. The best way around this is to add a setting on the Menu Pad that is for picking if you want to be given the items or not and make it work with all rewards given in Home. Rewards Preference Both (default) Male Female
I am not sure if this would work, but deleting the Home save file might let you unlock the rewards for the opposite sex. I know some games keep info there (like Locoroco) but some dont (like Aurora). Maybe you will get lucky. Either way I think this is great. I dislike having double items taking up room in my rewards list. If it could be organized I wouldnt mind, but the way it is it gets too cluttered.
All reward data is saved server side so the server know no matter what that your id as won that set task to unlock reward. Only other way would be by means that this site does not support.
