Article: [US] Save Hamster Freedom

If Karl Marx was on Home today, "Hamsters of the world unite; you have nothing to lose but your......(wheels?)"

 

I'll have to admit, seeing a move like this truly goes to show how out of touch the NA Home staff is with its community. I wasn't here during Home's beginning but from what I heard and know that outfit has some history and is obviously being used even today. If they had any care for the community the HCMs or hell, Jack Buser for all I care, someone would have made sure the Hamster outfits wouldn't be on the chopping block of removal right now. And yet they still encourage the sale of the Mansion by leaving the goddamn rope in the Theater Lobby, even after a load of us voiced our opinions in the Private Beta forums about it, and even being told it was there for "testing". The testing is done, the Hub and Districts are open now, so why is the VIP area and rope still up? (Sorry, completely different topic).

Just all these decisions they've made lately in Home, mostly NA, make me wonder...."What the hell are they thinking?". Its obvious they care more about $$$ than community...

I'm happy to had purchased the Hamster outfit a long time ago. Sad to hear that it'll be removed, but honestly it should stay.

 

putting it in the sale saying its going to be gone is just a sales trick to get a decent last run of sales out of a product, im all for keeping a iconic product but doing this is just putting more money in sonys pocket, if anything knowing its an iconic product and doing this, is a superb sales technique, gets you a decent run of sales and makes Sony look good when they reverse decision, win win for Sony really

Hamster outfits have been saved. They're still under Costumes - the very last one down under Male or Female.

 

A great victory for Hamsters everywhere! I think I might be in the video(somewhere in the back).

 

yes it is good to see that the hamster outfits were saved . but there was some other items there that were really nice that didn't get saved

 

Good job everyone, Hamster live to fight another day. Now we just need a Hamster/Human fight in CP again.

My favorite from the things that were lost is the robot box suit. I love that thing. If there was a cardboard robot cluc I would totally join!

 

yea the box robot is a cool outfit and ninja and pirate outfits will be missed also ( personal fav is the skull cap now gone ).
