I only got the male military top when I entered the Hub today. I have no military pants nor the trophy, nor any of the female military top and bottoms. What do I need to do? EDIT: Never mind. Found out from Beta Trophies thread.
I got my codes yesterday, and sure enough there are no spending restrictions, and what they really send you is a redemption code for a $5.99 PSN card that is simply added to your existing PSN funds and thus can be spent on anything you like, movies, TV shows, games, DLC, Home, etc. Not only that, but you don't have to use the code for the account that was used to get the code. In addition, you are not restricted to one code per PS3, and so every per-existing US PSN account you have ever made can get a code. So for instance, as a family we have four accounts, as well as a few guest accounts we made, and I also made some extra accounts for GT5 car trading. So far Sony has sent me close to $100 worth of redemption codes. Keep in mind, in the terms and conditions, it states that this promo is only good for per-existing US accounts. So I wouldn't suggest you start making multiple accounts in order to get thousands of dollars of PSN credit. Also, the redemption codes are sent to each account's email addresses, so if you gave fake email addresses when you signed up, you'll have to change them to real email addresses or else miss out on those $6 cards.
Got my code and redeemed it too. This will be used greatly for the Fall Blowout Sale in Home. Speaking of which, did anyone get their frame tonight? I went to Theater 1 and there was still no frame after watching the entire shows. Some say they got it today - either from logging off of Home and coming back to restoring their system settings - while others still didn't get theirs. Clearing the cache doesn't help either. I think it's another dumb reward issue GW needs to fix again, with the coats.
Why do you say they must be gone? They take as much as three days to send the code, maybe longer if it isn't entirely automated, and if they are having to process over a million registrants... especially over a weekend. Keep in mind, if the account does not meet the Terms and Conditions for the promotion you also wont get a code. I also seriously doubt many people even have more than two US accounts, certainly not the majority, and even for those that do, perhaps it is because they have multiple people that use their PS3, and regardless, reading the TAC, there is no restriction on the number of accounts you can use for this promo - as long as the accounts were pre-existing, US accounts, and were for someone 18 years or older then they have every right to sign up for the promo for every account that qualifies. If someone is late in signing up for this, I don't think its all that reasonable to blame others who were not and who were abiding by the terms and conditions of the promo.

Well I signed up about 5 days ago for the credit but only got 24 codes in. I guess that was the last one because my 25th still hasnt arrived. Anyway i really need to update my PS account email...I have to trudge through too much junk to ever find emails that I might not even get. Does anybody know the subject line that way I can just search for it?
Ugh, still no reward coming up at Theater 1 and I'm getting angry. What are they doing to investigate this?
hey i just checked my rewards and i noticed the ps talent pic frame. i got it at the same time that i got the smugglers outfit from there. i don't know if i just missed seeing it at first or if it was added without giving the noticed that i had gotten added.
I know this is late on answering your question, but I went in at the time the Talent thing started and got my picture frame. Maybe I was almost an hour late, but I had no issues with the reward. Usually I have issues so I was surprised.
I arrived at the Theater 1 before 9pm EST and watched the whole thing. Other friends were at a different Theater 1 instance, but I went to meet my friends after the whole show was over, and suddenly met GW and DIRECTOR_ON_DUTY and Kozzzmo, including Jo and other PSTalent peeps. Maybe I should've gone there, but how was I supposed to know about that?
I declare November "National US Home Failure Month". This is the third week in a row the US got next to nothing, and what little there is, is GARBAGE. I feel bad for EU, their update is even WORSE! What the heck is wrong with these people?! Guess they hate money! Well fine then, they won't get my money since it's so horrible to them. JP home has been the only one doing quality updates the past few weeks. I'm really becoming sick of US Home due to these horrible updates. October was a fantastic month, they must have made so much. Are they blind to the fact that more, and better products equals more money for them? I actually haven't bought a thing on US home since the US release of some of the Granzella furniture. All I can say now is, if the rumors of Xbox making an equivalent of Home is true, I know where my money is going! Unless the lazy, moronic, nazi regime of Home decides to get its act together, and start working on more and better pay content, and features like mp3 and video players, instead of wasting time fixing harmless glitches.
bad day, Im fine with home not flooding the stores with virtual rubbish, quality above quantity any time, if you want quantity above quality second life is where you need to be, problem is quality isnt exactly showing through either, new core spaces are good but have got boring real quick, dont mind a game of poker but there are already too many noobs ruining it, and the issues are getting worse and your right they go and fix glitches instead of sorting real issues, forgetting the licensing laws around music etc because imvu etc have music and you tube video players, the lag on streaming these medias in, is awful sometimes on imvu etc, so ive come to the opinion that id rather have boomboxes etc with music that doesnt require a license
I'm optimistic that the lack of content recently is because they're actually fixing issues that people have demanded be fixed for quite some time.... Did I say optimistic? maybe I mean unrealistic..
Hey Home is free for the most part, when in the history of gaming have we had a place that offered so much for so little. They have off days like anyone, to be sure. The error notices and glitches do suck, but they just updated a large amount in a little time, just be patient. Xbox makes you pay for absolutley everything, I have one and its been collecting dust for quiet a while now. If you want quantity then your not going to get quality, if you want quality you'll probably have to wait for it. I agree in the US Home you have a lot of very rude people who seem to enjoy fighting and saying bad words more than playing games and making friends, I prefer to stay in Asia, but we don't get many new games.
Personally, I'm thinking that Home's lack of good stuff is half due to fixing issues with the new spaces and such, and half due to their past few months having all their creative ideas put into said new spaces as well as Halloween (and so they're out of juice for a bit). I mean, Lockwood and a few of the other publishers are still putting out some good stuff, it's just not in the quantity we've been coming to expect (especially after the surge in October).
They could release 1 thing a week as long as it lasted me seven days but all too often the novelty has disappeared in a few days or its too easy to complete, its bad news when the thing thats lasted the longest recently is the how to get my rewards from theatre one task.
