The items are in the Loot Store ---> Furniture Tab and then Chairs and Sofas. There are 3 items in total that i know about. They match the furniture that was in the living room in front of the television.
Thanks, I didn't know about these. So it looks like we might get the best of both worlds then, especially if they add the theater room couches to the free furnishings. Now if only the Home devs can find a way to increase out item limit per space.
Well I just checked and they are the Modern furniture set, which I already bought a long time ago. Oh well.
I posted this over at PS.com. Wish they'd say something about the seating too. ____ This has been brought to my attention and users might want to respond. I will soon when I log off home. [INFO] Entertainment on Demand in LOOT Issues | PlayStation® Community Forums I'm wondering if Joystick might be able to provide some insight into the furniture. Joystick_Warrior ___Hey guys, Early this morning, Home was taken offline to fix the issue with the LOOT Theater that was causing freezing for some users. Upon restoration, it was discovered that the EOD (Entertainment On Demand) screens in the LOOT Theater and Hollywood Hills apartment were not functioning as intended. We are currently working to address this issue, but could use your help. Therefore, I ask that you PM me, Joystick_Warrior, your IP address if you are experiencing any issues with any of the LOOT EOD screens. This information will only be used by the Home team and LOOT in our investigations into the cause of this issue. To find your PS3 IP Address: From the XMB XMB > Settings > System Settings > System Information Your PlayStation 3's IP address will be among the items in the "System Information" list. Thanks for your assistance, J_W
I think the main problem is that Home has such horrendous communication with it's users. We are always kept in the dark. We are always being "shocked" by sudden changes to our world that make us go "WHY are they doing this?!?" We really need more information about changes that will affect us. Someone on Home's staff should make it their job to check for things that might freak out their customers. And tell people. Not on forum where only a hundred people of the thousand of Home users hear it, but in the Home program itself, so EVERYONE will know.
This is one of the most popular private spaces on Home. Doing this without giving the community – both on the forum and in the general community – a heads up is inexcusable. Having to have users come up with the potential reasons why it was done is certainly not very professional. For those who prefer to give the Home Team a free ride on this it's their choice. When people spend money and something is changed as radically as this they should at least be informed why and what to expect. I purchased the space with built in seating. I sincerely hope they will be replacing it after they've had time to make the changes. Until then they at least owe the community an explaination.

Well they should care. I've seen both the Home Managers and Developers make adjustments to things with feedback from the forum community. If you don't let them know how you feel you certainly don't have a justification for saying they aren't listening. Loot has provided some pretty nice content. They have a presence on the forum. They should be responding to questions soon or at least I hope so.
There is more free furniture than just the black couches from the living room area. *If* you can access the Loot EOD they also offer the seating from the theatre area for free (for owners only, otherwise $.99 a pop) in 2 pieces. I was not able to access the EOD with my regular account, but on my alternate I was able to see someone's EOD and check that out.
Well the EOD screens weren't working for me at least. I'll try it with an alternate later today. On the other hand an alternate won't have access to the apartment to decorate it. I haven't had a chance today to check but hopefully the EOD is working for my main account now. I trust they'll get that fixed soon enough. Also relative to two pieces is that per seating area? I think there are 3 rows of seats that need to be replaced. That certainly won't solve the item limit issue in a space as large as Hollywood Hills. Thank you.
What exactly are the items which the screen should give? I already got, from the loot store, the 2 free sofas which can form the seating area upstairs and the chair which forms the downstairs theatre seating (and an ottoman), is the screen just supposed to direct you to a store with just these items? Edit: never mind just realised the chairs are completely different from the theatre seating... shame the screen won't even work to be able to even get the seating though...
Rachel I believe he is talking about the theater furniture. And for those who may not have checked Loot has changed the lighting over at the Sunset Yacht along with the spawn point. That spawn is just behind a bar so if you visit you're serving drinks! That lighting looks much better. I may be doing photo shoots there again. Relative to the EOD I'm still getting a Game is Occupied message on Joanna's account. I'll probably invite Claire to see if she has any better luck.
im sure this will be fixed just as fast as the waterfall terrace space, also its odd that this has happend since the hollywood hills space has been a featured item in the store. or one of asswalls top 10 picks. i guess they knew what was coming and wanted to get people to buy it before they heard its broken.
I had to redownload the sunset yacht again, lighting is certainly a lot better now, but was surprised to find the space loaded almost instantly when I entered, rather than me having to wait 10-15 mins with that loot logo on screen.
intial download for the yacht has increased from 6mb to 32mb that might have something to do with it, but wheres my pelicans gone ? not a good week if your loot they should but they dont, the current selling power of home means they can dust a turd with icing sugar put a gold bow on it and it will sell, the only time any changes are done are if its going to create more revenue not because it pleases the community, we cant delude ourselves where we are on the home food chain
tried other tasks with no success so looks like tasks havent reset, plus weird sound problem as well if your inside boat you hear nothing outside on deck same if your outside on deck cant here playground boombox 1cm away because its inside, very weird
Ditto! I just checked my HH space and the EDO still says it's "Occupied", but can you be more specific on how we are supposed to be able to get the free theater furniture using the EDO? Have they added some kind of option to purchase and or download Loot items that are not available in the Loot store? While I agree that Home devs/mgrs have had a very spotty record for timely communication with their customers - at the same time, it would help if people posting info might take a little more time to offer more specific details. At the end of the day, the community can be more helpful than a handful of Home devs/mgrs - but only if we are specific and communicate clearly with one another just as we would like Home reps to do.
