I played yesterday and I wasn't getting any points to redeem for rewards, anyone else had that problem?

@ K-rolyne, that enemy for sure it's very dangerous but his attack patterns are rather predictable, what you want to do is wait for him to charge at you then you run away from him and from one side to the other, you can try to defend if you think he might hit you, then keep running after him, you should be able to do 3 hits then get away quickly, hopefully he'll charge again at you if not you can let him approach, before he gets too close run away he'll swing his spiked baton at you but shouldn't hit you, I only attack this monster after it does the charge attack.

 

Do you have to kill the big guy to get any points in the game?

 

You need to clear the objective in order to bring back any money/points received during the game. If you die, you lose everything you earned in that session.

 

I didn't die I killed the 2 big ogres before getting out but I got 0 points although the numbers at the top were working fine, maybe this was cause because I froze after finishing a game where I got killed but I even tried playing on a different PS3 and wasn't getting any points to trade >.< I'll try again now and see what happens

 

So I guess I have to kill two massive hit point monsters with bamboo? T_T

 

Unless you have a better Edo sword. But yes, you still need to kill them with a bamboo sword. Happy swatting!

So I play the game and I'm about to exit
I enter the light and the stats screen comes up
Then I press the circle button which takes me back to the Edo space and the numbers are the top are counting but I get no points for trading.

I tried clearing the cache, reinstalling home and playing on a different PS3 and nothing has helped.

The problem started after one day I was playing and I got killed and my PS3 crashed, when I went back to the Edo space all the numbers were reset to 0

Any ideas?

Could you do a test for me by backing up the script file, erase it completely, play the game, and see if you can earn any money. I'll tweet to Kujo about the problem after your done. I'd like to get alittle bit of info with it if possible. I'll probably need to borrow your pics also.

Oh, don't forget to put back your script file when done.

 

Many thanks Fa-ga, I didn't know which one was the script file so I backed up all the files on the Home folder and deleted them, I also had a corrupted file in there but I don't know if that had anything to do with it. But still I am not getting points for trading, when I arrived after deleting the files I had 0 on all 3 fields, then I played and only the numbers at the top where added when I returned to the Edo space, I have no idea about what's going on.

So you're still not getting any numbers for the 2nd line right? (2nd line is money) I'll tweet about this, and see if Kujo can say anything on it.

(Update) Just tweeted. Waiting for an answer. Hope there's a solution or a fix coming.

Got a reply. He says internally it should be added, just that it doesn't display it. Currently working on a fix.

I'm playing with the sardine seller top and legs, broken armor helmet and greeves and the hand item amulet. I can move extremely fast and get a lot of the smaller demons in three hit's, but every time another player makes an attack close to me at the same time I do I freeze. it usually happens when I'm fighting an ogre since everyone will be fighting the same one I am. does anyone have any freezing like this or is it exclusive to the sardine seller clothing and attack animation? I haven't experienced this with the other clothing, just the sardine seller outfit.

 

Unless you are playing multiplayer (forming or joining a group then clicking on the sign on the left), they aren't attacking the same oni as you. In fact they can't even see your oni, nor you theirs. As far as I know, the freezing is random and has nothing to do with your clothes. I think you had just been lucky until now.

But I would love to be proven wrong. I had played the game enough to buy all the rewards in one go when they were released. I enjoy it, but the random freezing (which forces me to shut down my ps3) is very annoying.

 

I went to the Edo space today and to my surprise I found a new reward at the shooting gallery, so that makes 1 male and 1 female fighter decorations

 

yep got him today too.
