Hey all, me again with another question I'm sure everyond else may know. I'm working on getting all the LocoRoco rewards, and I do not have the Island. So its coming to the space twice a day and dancing for the little NiNi guys for pickories. I can average between ten to twenty doing this. Two days ago I decided to give the Domingo Race a try. I won, not only once but five times in a row, not sure how it happened but I did. I came away with nearly two hundred pickories in one day. Is there a pattern this race takes or that I can follow, or is it just pot luck? I'm not terribly interested in the angry pickle outfit, but the other cute things for the 1000+ pickory mark look great.
here's the trick. Pickories are stored in your SCRIPTS save file. So copy your Home Scripts Save file to USB. Bet like crazy. (Also, I think you get more for your bet on saturdays, but not sure.) If you win, fine. If you lose, spend all your pikories on the ship store. Then copy your usb file back to ps3 to restore your pickories you had before.
This sounds interesting, but is it legal? LOL. I'll give it a try, I just bought the 300 pickories shirt, so I'm pretty well down to almost nothing. It won't kill me to lose them, haha. I just see that large yellow hat as something I want to sport around in.
I'm about to try this thing out, so this means that once I reach say 600 pickories, I can save them onto my USB, and then go and buy out all the figurines, not lose any money and continue on to the higher stuff. So I don't ever actually lose pickories?
Yup. If you do it right. The script file holds data that relates to stuff you do/earn. So you might run into trouble if you updat from a script that's like a few months old. It holds more than pickories. But yes, you should be able to buy everything on that MuiMui ship without losing a Pikori.
Uh... I looked for this thing, Scripts for Home, but I can't seem to find it. I found something about all Home saves, but I don't think that's it. Where would I look, this sounds hot so I want to try it.
On your ps3 main screen before you start a game, , under the games column, under saved game utility. Look for a Playstation Home Save File that's called Script Settings.

I did it! I did it! It worked, I was so nervous when deleting the skripts and saving them again, but it worked!! So does this work for anything else, like Sodium credits? That would be sweet indeed.
From the top of my head, I don't think anything that deals with "credit" works anymore with the exception on the Loco roco stuff. Things the script is used today are a few games that uses as FLAGS(whether you did it or not) or keeping progresses. I heard Sodium used to work, but it's now done on the server side. Hell points use to work, but it seems they started to do a internal check and if they see a different number, it resets to 0.
Today is Saturday and the money is double, so far I've won 300 pickories in 24 hours, and if ol Pepe would be so kind as to win again, that number will jump up to 500 pickories. I'll be able to pick up the figurines when I lose. So come on Pepe, Kick some water.
Any repercussions doing this? As I to am keen on betting on Snorlax (Pepe) without losing those pickories.
Ok so its Saturday and everything is doubled, so Pepe is sitting at 200 Pickories if he wins. I turned the PS3 on at 9am and have been betting on Pepe ever since. I have bet every hour, sometimes watching TV in between times, sometimes playing games, but that darn Pepe has only won 1 time. Every time I think about switching my bet I think, but I've waited so long, he's gotta win. That little black guy has won several, and the little grey guy has as well. I'd bet if you just bet on the little grey guy every time, you'd make more than holding out for Pepe. Next Saturday that'll be my strategy.
So I just made the mistake a deleting before looking at exactly what I was deleting. The Home scripts was always the first one, well some how it moved and deleted another file before knowing what was going on. Luckily it was only the character stuff, and the original home set-up stuff, so be careful and always make sure your deleting the right file. On a sudo-unrelated note, while waiting for these races I've been working my way through Midway, and almost everything is now stuck on Lv 10, I thought I'd get to lv 10 and easy finish, no such luck. The kicker is I only need one Lv 10 to get the gold jacket. I'm begging for a win.
When I started this on Friday I had the shirt for 30, the shirt for 100, and the shirt for 300, plus 68 pickories in my stash. This weekend I had to stay at home and work on the computer, so during that time I'd just do the little trick between hours, and I've managed to get all the badges, all the figurines and now have 511 pickories in my stash.
