Yeah, except I'm having an issue getting my tools. I'm not getting them, and it's not letting me play the game. I tried talking to the man. But nothing happens at all.
I just went up and played the game never talked to the guy at all, got one reward from the game before the rope broke and I fell ;D Edit: I do seem to be having some trouble joining the game now...
Maybe it's one of them games, that only allows so many players at once. I would assume four at a time, just like the jet ski game below.
well it seems like each block allows one player, so yeah should be 4 players total, though one other player seemed to have played on the same one as me when I was playing?

I'm pretty sure you get the 5 reward mentioned in the JP thread, spade, pic axe, jackhammer, brush, hammer and chisel by simply using them within the game. I think the item order in the game options goes: Pic axe Hammer and chisel Spade Jackhammer Brush Has anyone managed to get more than 1 fossil piece yet?
I've only managed to get one both try's so far, I was wondering if you get a reward if you have a certain number of fossils before the rope breaks.
I got one from the main fossel site and one from the vip site that you need personnel space to get to, having the personnel space gives you 2 goes a day as well, btw it also gives you a very undignified way down to the main beach lol
Make sure then win an item to add it to your map by hitting x then bring to the girl with tools to get another reward either rock whatever beside the tools
The funny thing is, I've never actually let the rope break on me yet. I always complete my task before hand. But I remember reading somewhere, that it looks funny.
If you have personnel space and can get to vip area it does not stop when you find the fossil you can continue until the rope nearly breaks but if it breaks you lose what you found
Does anyone know what the purple tag item does? If it does something like let you have more tries I may buy it. The twice a day thing really annoys me and I'm willing to pay for some kind of "unlimited pass". I have OCD and ADD so this is really driving me nuts lol. I can tolerate once a day at peakvox but not here. I am also trying to figure out if the more damaging tools cause the rope to break faster, and the more delicate tools cause it to break slower? Or do those determine the quality of fossil you get? I managed to get the half trilobite that sam reynolds posted but I wasn't using delicate tools. It has a rating of 2 stars and a minus. Today I finished a fossil with the brush several times and never used the jackhammer. It is a small leaf and has a rating of 1 star. There are 2 tools you can purchase, a nice looking steel pick, and a steel shovel. The pick gives 3 stars for damage and 4 stars for precision, the shovel gives the reverse. There also seems to be some sort of fossil display cases on sale, if anyone has these I would be interested in seeing them. *The stats are visible of the other tools when you select them. While playing, the rating on the left is damage, and the right is precision. I don't know exactly what these stats say, I am just guessing. I.E jackhammer has 5 stars on left/star minus on right, brush has star minus on left/5 stars on right. So again the question is what effect do these stats have, is it how fast the rope breaks, the quality of the fossil, or perhaps both? Oh and FYI, guests to your apt can exit out to the 2nd fossil site thankfully, I let 2 friends leave from my apt to it. And if no one has noticed, the apt finally has 3 spawn points now! I was finally able to get my IREM beach umbrella onto the deck lol.
