PSN members whom spend a certain amount of money in a certain time period be it on PSN or PSHome should get discounts & certain perks.
PSN members buy overpriced DLC, Games, movies & music not to mention those that spend money on PSHome buying avatar clothing apartments furniture items.
Why not give those that spend that much money discounts & certain perks like making items on PSHome & PSN available to buy open first to those that spend a certain amount in a certain time period.
You've spent this much money in the past 3weeks, So Why not get a discount on items at the end of the month?
You've spent this much money on PSHome in the past 3weeks So Why not give perks like being the first to buy or tour an upcoming apartment or buy items before there released to the public.
I'm not talking PSN+ crap, i'm talking getting an end of the month discount on everything for those that spend alot of money.

I think this is a great assessment, in terms of how much a normal PSN user spends in Home! In fact, I'm almost certain a normal PSN user spends more on PS Home items, than PSN+ members!!

You could receive a discount code by e-mail.
Sony keeps track of your PSN purchases & sends you verification of your purchase by e-mail so why not send a code for an end of the month discount if you've spent a certain amount in the past 3 weeks.

Wouldn't discounts & perks help ease the pain & second thoughts PSN members get from buy overpriced items, a little relief.

Come on.. Sony give you something for wasting money on virtual items and their crap in the store? Pipe dreams.

Trust me I spend as much as you guys and would love to get a lil something extra, but as a major corporation they really seem to :shit: on their loyal supporters.

I 2nd to this, give us something to show for it, isnt there something 78 million people signed up with PSN? Their making a nice profit from all of us supporting them. I think its a great idea.

I know & i totally hear you, it sucks that we don't & it is pipe dreams but Sony shouldn't lay the crap so thick it'll came be smelled miles away, hell even GameStop gives discounts of some sort & i hate them.
To think that Sony knows how many members there are on PSN all regions & how much each & every PSN member spends on PSN & Sony couldn't give them better discounts then HAND PICKED garbage is sadness.
Just think of all that DLC members buy for Call of duty or any games & Not once did it cross Sony's mind to give something to ease those with 2nd thoughts on buying anything from their network.

The only way we could get some sort of message a crossed to Sony would be not purchasing any of their content. That will never happen though.

I totally would give something. I'd give something to make members want to love coming back, I'd see people spending tons of money & say, here how about an end of the month discount on anything on PSN (meaning PSNStore & PSHome).
No freaking free shirts on PSHome, i'd give $3.00 off regular PSHome apartments & $7.00 off PSHome mansion floors.
PSN DLC would be a 10% discount.
Something to let members know that i wouldn't think of them as just money.

I would think so, the scales are very unbalanced in terms of pricing, so a discount would or should alleviate a little of the pressure of buying overpriced PS Home items!

I just wish they would increase active item limit and item limits but especially active item. I quit buying active except for gogo dancers because of this.

Your right every once in awhile is better then nothing.
PSN+ doesn't help at all when the discounts only cover items your not interested in.
How is it Sony can create a wonderful gaming system with amazing games then hand pick items that a small percentage of PS3 owners are interested in to give discounts on?
I think it sucks on the active item limited usage in one area to Don, there's clubs on PSHome filled with members but we're limited to two active items like one pool table & one poker table or whichever two active items you wish 4 ur clubs or apartments.
Do we have to wait for nearly the end of PS3's life cycle to have that improved.
I Know many PSN members have suggestions & questions on Why Not this or How come that, So why doesn't the PSN Surveys ask the right questions? Ask questions of PSN members on their experience with PSN instead of guessing.

Totally agree with you on this. Heck, right now I'd settle for a Home that doesn't freeze up and crash all the time. Or to be able to actually SEE HOW BIG OR SMALL AN ITEM IS BEFORE I BUY IT for my Personal Space, before wasting my money. I mean, hey.. they could at least throw an fake avi in each pic for size reference right? >.>

I've probably spent $150 on Home items in the past 2 months, and would welcome any incentive from Sony to keep buying. As it stands right now though, I'm going to be much pickier from here on in with my money. Home is a great place, but is still light years away from being what it could and should be.

Dear Sony: I would like to apply for a job with you. Give me 3 weeks and a decent paycheque and I will turn Home in the direction the people would rather see you steer it.

PS... nevermind, I'll do it for free.

How about a time trial on items? clothes furniture apartments.
That way you can see the item's actual size & how it actually looks in your apartment. With clothing you'll be able to see if you can mix & match tops bottoms hats with hair so on & so forth.
Apartments you get a virtual tour of every apartment your interested in buying.
I think those would be great additions to PSHome.

A perk for those that don't spend that could be Once a month 3 of any PSHome items you've purchased can be exchanged for items equal or less in price.

In Japan, right now you get 100 yen back if you spend 500 yen. 300 yen for 1500 yen spent. 500 for 2500. And 1000 for 5000 yen spent.

What would be nice is if people that have games like infamous SaintsRow2 resident evil on disc already, should be allow to download the full games free
