All I want is high quality product btw the bed thing is not about stereotyping its about the fact that a professional developer thought it was ok to put a bed in a room that is clearly the wrong size and that we should then accept it ? Ill say it again I love home and spend a hell of a lot of time and money on it. but I wont wear home tinted specs when it feels like a developer is taking advantage of that
These are futons. Usually they get folded when not in use. This is said to be a replica of the living quarters. If I remember correctly, prices are exactly the same. Yes, you will be charging more since you'll probably be buying the full set with the sword and head stuff. Don't get me wrong. I thought the Irem prices were high also. I do think they are on the high side and people did ask for a set bundle price, hope it gets considered.
Well we'll just have to agree to disagree. In my view this space sets the bar for spaces thus far in home. Their mall items are also excellent in my view. Obviously people think differently. You are certainly entitled to your view but I certainly don't suscribe to it. I'd personally be very happy if developers in North American paid a lot more attention to what Granzella is doing. The prices are high but most costumes and items in the Japan mall are expensive. Perhaps is a function of the weak dollar but overall I would say the quality is high compared to some of the stuff we get here in North America. I do wish the Japanese would pay more attention to bundle pricing. It certainly doesn't appear to be a model they've embraced. I will wait on many things because I do believe we'll see similar content coming to North America and I don't want to buy things twice. I'll get some select items and hold off until I get the opportunity to by them close to home. Personally I've very encouraged to see all they have done with this Japanese Village. I hope we see a lot more and I can't wait to see what else they come up with.
The space isn't finished. There is more to come. ....and Faga is right about the beds. They are futons. It's a style of bed where they lay it on the ground and you sleep there. It's not elevated beds like you have. This is how it was in ancient Japan. It's not European styled beds. I agree about how the npc's are low Rez. But that space is pushing Home to it's limits. You can't have Uncharted quality characters in Home. This is the best home can offer. I like the npc's. They add a sense of story to the space. Too bad you can't read the Japanese...
I'll go ahead and chime in here and say, I believe Granzella has done an amazing job thus far in so little time. In about a month they've rolled out two amazing public spaces with so much to do and see in each, rewards to earn, day/night cycles in both spaces, and also have published a lot of quality content each week since they've begun. And this is only the beginning, they're taking our feedback and making it reality in Home. Granzella has done nothing but good and will continue to produce quality content for us and not let us down On that note, I thought about this suggestion a while back and didn't see anything here like it. Is there any way they can make the little hut up on the cliff in the South Island Resort into a purchasable apartment? I noticed it was closed off but thought they could easily make that into a Personal space with a direct link to the Resort public space, like how most spaces have an exit that takes you to Central Plaza. Referring to the one pictured below
I agree Chad. They really need to do more with personal spaces and as they relate to public ones. I always though that exiting from an apartment to a comparable public space would be awesome. Forget Central Plaza. On the other hand I would also love to see access to the apartments from public spaces as well. I know I always felt the Playground apartment for example would have been so much better if you exited from it directly to the Playground and if you could also enter that apartment from the public space as well. Sort of how the Harbor Studio works in Central Plaza. It would feel so much more like real life if that were the case. IREM and Granzella appear to have great mall content and public content but neither at least up until now has done anything with personal apartment.
I believe Kujo hinted that it's going to be a personal space through his tweets. Didn't say anything on when though.
Faga could you ask Granzella to make the nighttime darker? I think it would look much better with a darker night lit by lanterns.
For those who might not know it does appear the Kazuma_Kujo does in fact speak English. I was very surprised to get a response back from a tweet I sent him yesterday. These are a series of tweets that went back and forth today. Carla also sent some tweets which were also responded to in English. ____________ Joanna_Dark_ Joanna Dark I love the new Granzella Village in Japan Home. I don't think he knows alot though. Judging from the sentences, I believe he only knows slightly or may be using translators to understand them.
LOL..Its more like the following when I interpreted... Jo: Free Edo towel, yes? Kujo: No Jo: Yes please? Kujo: No... Kujo: Oh ok, we can settle this as a sale item in HOME. Problem solve..LOL.. Jo: DOH! All in good fun, all in good fun with my interpretation...
lol, yeah, I interpreted it the same way (no offense to anyone) as the towel is really a basic item. I'd rather pay for something my avatar is going to use on a regular basis as opposed to once in a while, if at all! (again no offense to anyone, this is just my opinion)
