You got the info a little mixed up. The aquarium itself is staying for 3 months from the beginning. The "1 month" is only for the VR reps coming to home. After the month period, I have no idea how we get the rare fish. They probably have some changes on how they appear or they may sell that shirt that the VR reps have that may cause the rare fish to appear. For whether we get a reward for completing the book, I have no clue. The poster behind the book terminal does have a text of hinting that we get something, but whether that is the 500 points or some other kind of special rewards coming in the future, I don't know. The official site does point that the rewards from the gumball (or whatever you call it) is at 24 right now and future rewards will be coming later. Those 24 are exactly from the book, which has 30 entries, so we can predict 6 more are coming soon.

I was just too tired right from the word go to deal with it all today. I tried to hang in and enjoy it for a few hours, but just ended up frustrated like others. Things are always more frustrating when I'm sleep deprived (as is probably the case with most people). A good night of sleep tonight should take care of that....and tomorrow is a new day. I just did a crosscheck of all 24 rewards that are earnable now with Ariane's list of all 30 fish types from the book. I figured this might be the case once they add more that they'll add the other six. Hopper. Stop the crap about the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, etc. . I moved to Tampa/St Pete for a (few) years after growing up in New Orleans. I was at "Manon Rhéaume makes history and becomes the first woman to play professional hockey. She tended goal for the Tampa Bay Lightning" game in real life. Even though it was a pre-season game. I was there ! You bastitch ! But hey, I know you and I both enjoy seeing the underdog and / or women excel in men's sports. Sorry, but that's much fun. ;D
Thanks for understanding/appreciating my perspective too. This is has been one of my first chances to be with so many of you in an event together and I just love all the talk, the chaos, the helping of each other, the constant chatter, even if it's a bit taxing and takes a toll just reading constantly or trying to keep up lol. You see I'm more sad about it being quickly over, so if there's "reasons" why it's taking everyone some effort to finish, I'm mostly ok with it. :tongue: I realize there will be other events, but sometimes they don't happen, like the April Fools one. And if I might ramble a bit more, I also remember the first one for me, two years ago roughly, and being mostly alone and reading all of your helpful comments in that one huge thread whose title was something like Irem Festival Prizes (?) Anywho, you know the one. That event had issues too. Like being so freaking busy I was constantly freezing. I mean a lot. Challenging! lol. Lots of challenges, like being confused even with help provided. No one to talk to at that time. It was a lot of fun and everything, even finished it apparently, got to the end and with my meager Yen I forced myself to buy that sword that was relatively rare for a while, at least until they gave that sword and many others away. Nice of Irem wasn't that? I"m getting sidetracked and long. It's just that these bigger events are more rare than those flippin fish we're hunting. Rare again are events like this where we all come together for extended time to play and help and yes, whine and moan and sulk even. But I'd much rather be in any less-than-perfect event with all of you then anything else. Mostly. :turned: I'm really glad about us being open about our feelings. These are real things, real raw feelings and allowing others to see that is very giving. Maybe I wish some of you weren't so giving lol, jk jk. We love you too Trillian! I just think all of this nonsense is taking its toll on us, however, in the end you're right. We're all still experiencing this together, both ups and down. In the end, all that matters is we're together, right? ;D
Not sure how much is true, but 2 different friends went to the Sony building event today and one was able to talk with the creators. It seems after the Sony building event ends (1 month of VR reps) the aquarium will release the rare fish by time blocks. The other told me that the completion of the gumball machine is that you get the aloha/Kariyushi shirt.
i've just finished gathering the non rare fish now i need to focus on baracuda, dolphyfish and stingray also i've finished gumball since a week now but no aloha shirt... maybe i'll get it after VR event
Still having having troubles with disappearing VRs and broken queues, i still need 2 barracuda pics I've got the stingray and dolphinfish now, but I'll help out to cover more instances.

On an unrelated note, Sera and I are in an instance that had no VR rep and it had a barracuda all the way from 04:00 to 05:00 Pacific (20:00 to 21:00 Japan). It disappeared when the 5am movie played. This is different from 02:00 to 03:00 Pacific (18:00 to 19:00 Japan), in which the barracuda did not appear unless the VR rep was present and disappeared when the VR rep disappeared. Why the difference? No idea.
Faga just posted that there's 6 new rewards coming up for the gashipon machine, and by completing all 30 rewards will get you that nice shirt the VR girls are wearing for both genders.
